Looks nice...but: - Phone is way too big - 3300mah is pathetic - $900-1000 pricetag is way too high compared to S8+ - Productivity phone with such a small battery life? DOA - Same 835 chip which most likely will not help with lag S8+ > Note 8

Hi the "sad". - phone big with no bezels, all note lovers wished all times big screen 6inch plus compatible with spen - 3300mah with 10nm processor ram ddr4x and SuperAmoled, watch this video to know that samsung compete itself:)https://youtu.be/scKPXLbUewE -900$- 1000 worth this price because it is a mighty phone and has no competitor on the planet, do not forget the thief iphone 8 close to the specs of S7 not S8 and regular versions like the past years. It implicitly recognizes that it has been manufacturing hybrid phones throughout all these years. and sheeple buy it like you :)

3300mah is still a rumor and if it is true no one has had any time with the 8 to do any real test to see how it holds up. Just be patient and stop posting the same useless complaint on every note 8 article.. Makes you look pathetic...

Fastest phone, made by Samsung, perhaps.

It will probably be the best phone available.

How? It won't be better than the S8+.

The Note is always better than the S model that comes out before it. Based on the camera alone this will be no different.

S8+ is beating it in the battery department and is more manageable. Those offset a better camera, especially when you consider the S8+ already has a great camera.

On paper it's beating it in the battery department but again, the phone hasn't been announced. And what's better than great? Greater. That's usually the case with the Note vs (>) the S.

Just because it's usually the case doesn't mean it's always the case. On paper, right now, the S8+ is more appealing especially considering price.

I actually meant always, because that is always the case. On paper, right now, the Note 8 is more appealing to Note users simply because we had to do without one, not to mention the fact that this phone will be better. It's okay if you don't acknowledge it & stick with what's best for you.

You have no idea about the battery life. My Note 7 had a smaller battery than my S7 Edge, but ran laps around it in battery life.

You have no idea about batter life either. Note 7 did NOT run laps around the S7E. Look at gsmarena's test: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_note7-review-1478p3.phphttp://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s7_edge-review-1409p3.php S7E 92h Note 7 90h Nice lie Tedkord. It's safe to say the Note 8 will not beat the S8+ in battery life.

I had both phones. The Note 7 got almost an hour and a half more screen on time than my S7 Edge. Nice try, fool. Its safe to say the Note 8 will be the best phone on the planet, and the reviews will reflect that, just as they do now with the S8, and did with the Note 7, S7, Note 5, S6...

legitimate battery test > tedkord battery test Gsmarena's battery test is a great tool and most people trust it. Not trusting your own. How dumb are you to think someone would trust your anecdotal info? It's not safe to say the Note 8 will be the best phone on the planet. Note 7 was not even close being best phone on the planet thanks to the grenade powder supplied within. Nice try, fool.

I'll trust my own experience, thanks. The Note 7,while it was out ,was rated the best large phone around ,by an even higher ratio than the S8 is now.

Ted, we don't need links, we have personal experience. Links prove one thing...you didn't own the device. Let that looking for trouble idiot, do just that. We'll have our Note 8's in just over a month. He'll still be posting links. 8-23-17 nears.

Not laps, they lasted roughly the same. When playing a 1440p video in a loop, the Note 7 vs the S7E, the Note 7 fell shy by like 20 mins or something.

Sheep has a lot wrong, but he has one thing right. The GS8 will take phone of the year again just like it does every year. It comes out early in the year and still pimp slaps iphones and google phones. if the iphone and bezelicious pixels were actual threats, they would use a new exynos or the sd836 for the note. however they dont because the GS8 looks and ergonomics have this in the bag

Its way to big for YOU. Millions of people will buy this phone, even if you don't. 3300 is not pathetic. Anything less than 3000 on a so-call flagship (iPhone) is pathetic! But no one ever said how pathetic the iPhone battery is. So I take this as Samsung hatred. Pricetag I agree 100%. The Note has never had dismal battery-life though, so you are wrong their. When you consider. he S and Note, with the Note taking on the S features and having its own unique feature on top, yet the Note last longet than any flagship device, shows that it is better optimized vs any device on the world. The Note 8 will have similar or better battery-life vs the S8+. So it will still last 2 days on a single charge, hwich I dont know any other phone with any sized battery that does. Because there are phone with 4000MaH batteries that don't last but a day. Seeing that the iPhone 7+ as an example with its 29xx battery and it doesn't even have half the features of the note and it doesn't even last me more than 7 hours. That's pathetic, but said no one ever, except me it seems.

"I have an older S8+ and Note 8 will be released soon but my old phone is still better" - Every old gen owner ever. Not to mention they'll probably use the faster SD835 (Like Mi 6 & Xperia XZ premium) unlike the slower SD835 (S8, S8+)

Actually it is a bit overpriced. V30 is 800$-900$ Note 8 is 900$-1000$
