Did the author necessarily have to mention the galaxy note 7?

They're called the i8 and not the Big 8. There's nothing big about them other than their mouths. Meanwhile this happens to every manufacturer. It's the nature of the beast. Apple of course take zero blame as usual.

Glad he’s ok but should seek some legal action for sure. Let’s get that battery tech rolling. Seems we have c4 in our pants, ears, everywhere now. I never leave nothing on charge over night since you never know what may happen.

Samsung phones kill more people than any manufacturer combined. Their batteries flawed.

One Samsung phone had battery problems and only a tiny fraction of those sold actually caught fire. None to my knowledge was ever reported as killing someone. iPhones have been catching fire, over different models for far longer and has reportedly killed someone, maybe even bought down a plane. If with the exception of the Note 7 Samsung batteries are flawed (whose design was flawed), Apple should have recalled every model since the iPhone 5.

No he's talking about EgyptAir flight MS804 which is reported to have been brought down by the pilots iPhone or iPad catching fire in the cockpit which ignited a bottle of perfume. This is said to have brought down the plane killing all 66 on board.

And yet, more iPhones have burned in the last two years than iPhones. Why, it's almost as if you're full of s**t...

Samsung hurry up and bring graphene, much more safer than lithium.

Ok, serious here. This can happen to anything at anytime with these damn lithium ion batteries. I will be glad when someone comes up with something better and safer.

Bit phones have used these for year and plenty of toys use them too. Why is if a problem now with better manufacturing processes?
