Once again, Hi! from Berlin, where IFA 2013 is taking place with full force, and boy what a show it is! We've already seen the Xperia Z1 Honami, the Galaxy Gear smartwatch, and of course - the Galaxy Note 3 phablet. If that's not an exciting event, we don't know what is!...

It has 3gb ram, and this is an obvious result..

You seem a little jealous. It's okay though. There's always next year for OEMs to catch up.

Why would he/she be jealous? You sound stupid! If you're not profiting off of android, why do you care?

Do you know how bad PunyPoop trolls on this site? Enough for me to troll back. That says a lot considering I don't do it often.

Never run a benchmark on a phone which is charging. Numbers will definitely be low. Always good to reboot the phone once before running benchmarks, cleans up the memory. cheers!

Do you know what the word countdown and joke means?

It depends on what units you meant by "3..2..1.." If you meant hours, then there's still plenty of time. If you meant seconds, then he's right. There's NO place for joking here, PapaSmurf.

Why? The benchmarks are nothing special. Same scores as every other flagship being released.

My question is: how does it compare with iPhone 5 on the same benchmarks; iPhone 5 doesn't even show up, iCan't see it - gosh, does it even chart with the rest?? I can see the HTC One in the #2 spot.

The A6 still beats pretty much any phone on the market core for core. Even running at 1.3ghz. Only the Snapdragon 800 trumps it....at over 2ghz.

Nah... Exynos 5420 with A15 cores at 1.9ghz defeats everything else ,even the s800

A6 was also manufactured by Samsung which is designed by ARM except that Apple has done some customisation on it. At same clockspeed, Exynos 5410 or 5420 marginally beats the A6 and smokes the Snapdragon 800 miles away.

Note 3 will be the best device on the market when it launches. Can't wait. :)

Phablets are 10%(around that) of all smartphones. They are not meant for majority of people cause they are too big. It cant be the best device if its not suitable for majority of people. If you said S4, HTC ONE, Z1, or something similar I would say ok.

It can absolutely be the best device for anyone at any given time because that's a matter of personal preference. Besides, what car would you say is better: a Ferrari or a Toyota Civic? Or what food is better? Filet mignon or a McNugget? Just because something isn't marketed to the majority of people doesn't mean it's not "better." +1 (to Smurf) for expressing his opinion, which can be an EXTREMELY dangerous thing to do on this website.

Toyota outed a civic? Damn, I need to catch up on news :/

It's more like a semi truck vs a car. Both can go 60 miles an hour but one is much bigger and harder to drive than the other.

By next year, or 2 years from now. Smartphone size in width and diameter will be near, or the exact same as the phablets of today; most likely to accommodate an increase in resolution once again. So what you say today, you may end up eating tomorrow.
