The Samsung GALAXY Note shocked us with its 5.3-inch display and built-in capacitive stylus, but come to think about it, there's a lot of meaningful use for such rich screen estate…

you mean build materials? their actual build quality is second to none on flagship devices.

Yes, build material needs improving. Samsung typically uses cheap plastics. Where as Motorola Droid series are usually very nice high-end aluminum

That's changed. The Droid 3 and Bionic have plastic backs for weight savings. Motorolas still feel better though because they use soft-touch coatings.

now is it gonna be priced as a phone or as a tab???? i want this but i'm NOT dropping around $400 for this on contract i would spend $500-$600 off contract but i have the feelings this is gonna be expensive ($700-$800)

Split the difference? $300? I think they're marketing it as a phone, even though I can't imagine holding that giant slab up to my face. I'm sure anyone with sidetalking nostalgia will enjoy it though.

Most of Samsung products are made from plastic if you like aluminum go to Apple but every in Apple products are not made by Apple.

As a phone...way too big...as a pad...almost too small, but good for a mom to drop in her purse. :-) I don't see a lot of sales of this.

As a business owner, I say build the darn thing with solid materials, make it available on the Verizon network as a 4G phone, include ICS and I will buy 100 of them!!!

Most business and technical professionals will have a devise like this with a styli. This is something that can be used for productive work, not just consumption.
