First 4 million units of Samsung Galaxy Note III to be powered by Snapdragon 800 CPU?

A published report out of Korea says that Samsung has finally come to a decision about which processor will be driving the Samsung Galaxy Note III; according to those familiar with the situation, Samsung is still having problems with its home grown Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor which leaves the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 to drive the next iteration of Samsung's phablet...

newsflash - 99% of the consumers that are going to buy the Note 3 would just shrug and say "huh?".. then go buy the Note 3.

Most, MOST consumers couldn't care in the least what processor is under the hood. Very few even know who Qualcom is.. let alone what a Snapdragon or Exynos processor is.

Also, I maintain that if given 2 Note 3 phones, one with the exynos and one with the Snapdragon processor.. you would NOT be able to tell the difference.

Not 99%. MILLIONS of serial ROM flashers = seasoned users which roughly translates to about 10% thereof do care about whether if it's gonna be an Exynos or not device. Simply because typically Samsung will close off parts of Exynos rendering it literally gimped from going to 110% potential at custom ROMs.

Difference won't necessarily be determined by raw performance but firmware revisions' longevity, availability at delivery. This is where custom ROMs win over stock firmware.
