Filming begins on new Steve Jobs film; crew spotted at Jobs' boyhood home

Yeah, we'll admit it. The first Steve Jobs biopic Jobs, starring Ashton Kutcher, was pretty much a snoozefest. On paper, it looked good with Ashton Kutcher portraying the late Apple co-founder. And Josh Gad seemed to be an inspired choice to play Steve Wozniak (Matthew Modine as John Sculley also was a great choice). But the film flopped both artistically and at the box office...

well spoiler alert spider-man is in age of ultron

They can't be in the same movie, since two different studios own the rights to Avengers and Spider-Man. Same thing goes for X-men or even the term mutant. Hence Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch won't be called mutants in age of Ultron (so I have heared).

I always felt it was wrong to have the Juggernaut play a mutant in Last Stand, when he's sustained by a magical force in the OG marvel universe.

I know, when he slammed into the wall without his 'mutant' power, I really disliked it since he isn't one. Besides he didn't look anything like the comicbook version.

I like him much better with his Hulk level strength. I collect comics, and actually have about 80% of the ones I had as a kid. I also have Hulk 181, DC VS Mervel, Secret Wars, and Marvel Universe. All sealed with cardboard too.

Wow you're a bigger nerd than I am lol. But I love comics too and I like the marvel movies alot, even when some things aren't the same as in the comicbook. And yes he won a few times from the Hulk didn't he? They say Hulk isn't really a figure to have a movie of its own. But can you imagine world war Hulk as a movie?

That would be an awesome movie, if done right. I'd have all of my stuff, if not for a fire in the 90's at my parents house, that burned what I hadn't yet moved. Still have a lot of Star Wars stuff too, it's what I grew up on. My wife calls me a herder...yep.

Marvel is trying to get Sony to let them include Spiderman in the movie

44. RebelwithoutaClue unregistered

That would be cool to see ALL marvel icons out there in a movie. Same goes for X-Men. X-Men vs Avengers was a really nice story line.

Basically that would be Secret Wars, just include the Beyonder.

Last report I heard is that Sony has finally relented and released the rights to Disney/Marvel so Spiderman WILL be included in AoU. They've been fighting over artistic visions. Sorry Sony, you lose MASSIVELY to Disney/Marvel over the quality of the movie and care of the franchise, you should have begged D/M to take over instead of fighting for controlling rights.

I googled it (you made me curious) and indeed, there might be a cross-over and SM in the end-credits scene. I just jizzed in my pants lol

He's no different than the CEO of their favorite company, he just gets wayyyy more press, and Spotlight. I can care less about him being an A-Hole, I deal with em everyday. The only reason they're on here posting like this, is because he led Apple, and they hate Apple. THE END!!!

Ehhh I'll wait for the 4th movie where they give the audience free iPads for attending. That's the only way I'd see a Steve Jobs movie or own an iPad.

i was on a taxi ( Qatar) where i met an Nigerian and spoke to him for 1 hr on the taxi ride . He said we been( Nigerians) victimised on scamcharges and but what he told me a fact i was surprised " We been the other end of the spectrum, people like Steve Jobs intentionally play with stock market in billions and Tax evasion in Billions of dollars and just make patent by bribing officials but they are considered to be great " When we deeply think there is a dark side and he was the one who cheated " XEROX" and Bill Gates was the one whose mom and dad where IBM Board memebers and won the contract for supplying Software from the code be borrowed from IBM

The best thing he ever did was throw that hissy fit and try to sue Android out of the Smartphone market. His hatred and fear made me question what it was about Android that was so much better than Apple. So I bought myself a Galaxy S2 and never looked back. Thank you Steve! You were the light that shown on Android and opened people's eyes, and you never knew it. LOL

Android is software, Apple is a company.

Really? A DESIGN company. Apple doesn't manufacture. When I buy a Samsung, it is designed and built by Samsung. When others buy an HTC or LG or Sony, they are built and designed by those companies.. When someone buys an iPhone it is built by Foxconn and Samsung and TSMC.

Android is software, Apple is a company. Don't act like you didn't mean it any other way.

When this one bombs as well, maybe they'll figure it out and concentrate on actually making movies people WANT to see. TNT broke the one-sided mirror on Silicon Valley a few years ago, so there's nothing left to see. Everyone knows that most of these guys running these companies are dicks, so these movies become spiteful reminders that nobody cares to see. "Oh, look, honey! Another Steve Jobs movie! Wow...he was an innovator, but, God, he was a dick. Let's go see the new Star Trek movie, it's out..." That's exactly how it will play out, there's always going to be something better to see than this...

Wonder if they're actually protray him to be the prick he actually was. Or will they continue to treat him like a god.

I learned all I needed to know about Steve Jobs from watching "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2".
