that means terrible battery life unless a new technology is used

Screw the thin race. Let's see bigger batteries, or a radical new tech, that allows a much smaller battery with much better life.

Thinner phone = smaller battery = adding to the iPhone already dismal batterylife. Even though the S6 has a small battery too, it still managed to last longer than the previous model. Yep Apple, all that money and we only have to look forward to thinner?

Dude, I'm just gonna say it, and be real. I do not wish to converse with you, and wish you'd avoid my posts. You're a trouble maker, an Apple hater, and I don't need any advice or input from you. You come here strictly to stalk Apple articles, and users, to blast this company, that you obviously have a huge hard on for. I'm being as respectful as possible, just avoid my posts, we've nothing to discus. I do not feel the hatred for Apple that you do. I'm an Apple user, and will remain so. So to sum this up, and be done. I don't like what you're about on this site. I don't believe your malarkey, there's nothing you can teach me, and I don't enjoy conversing with you. I'm about tech, not targeting people and companies. I actually come here to be cool with people, and not be a pain in their ass, that they don't respect, believe, or want to converse with. Peace.

Just not what I come to the site for, to have him come to everything I post and attack Apple. I'm good on that stupid fanboy crap.

Please don't tell me that Galaxy S6 has a better battery life than it's predecessor. Everything is great about S6 except for the Battery Life.... it is definitely worse than the S5...

Fuel cell battery!

Bring it on yo. I think it's time to focus on battery technology vs just a bigger battery.

you are going to have to keep on buying fuel cells to put in there. fuel cells could power them for 2 weeks (give or take 5 hours) but the cells would be like $30.

I'm more excited about future developments in super-capacitors. Who cares when your phone lasts half the day when it takes a few seconds to charge to 100%

Gets thinner, but will still have that huge camera bump and mediocre battery life

Thinner iPhone means two things: 1.) The phone will be bigger in dimensions (5.0 inch display) to compensate bigger battery and/or 2.) The phone will be more power efficient with 14nm/10nm architecture/display tech.

Well they couldn't fit in what they wanted in this previous design without making it thicker so I don't see them spending the money to do that with the iPhone 7.

Make it thicker, cram a bigger battery in there, and waterproof the sumbich. But Apple will never do that, because they want fragile, short-lasting phones so they can sell more to the same people.

No I want something innovative. Give me a thinner phone, but with better grip on the sides, no home button, with Touch ID in the screen. Lastly, 5 days battery life.

What company doesn't want that lol. How they approach it is one thing, but name one company that doesn't want Apples fanbase.

Honestly I'd rather have a phone with big battery although it'd be a bit thicker than having a "beautiful" design but have a tiny battery that don't even last until evening

As I mentioned above, we are almost to the point where we could have a fold out phone that is 12 mm thick. I beleive that's sound the same thickness as the original iPhone. Can you imagine having a fold out phone that has nothing but battery on one side? That thing could last for days. I do beleive this is the end goal for these thin phones.

In other "News", famous analysts predict that water will continue to be wet.

44. darkkjedii

Posts: 30786; Member since: Feb 05, 2011

Water isn't wet. Wetness is a description of our experience with water.

60. AlikMalix unregistered

Oh but when certain water molecules find other water molecules attractive - they get wet.
