Facebook Connect announced for the iPhone
A new Facebook service has been announced for the iPhone at the SXSW Interactive conference held in Austin, Texas. The service we are talking about is Facebook Connect, which allows you to link your iPhone applications to your Facebook profile, in order to share data with friends. Thanks to the new service, users will be able to play games not only with other iPhone users, but also with those on the PC, for example. Sharing your scores in your Facebook feed is also as easy as pie. In addition, you’ll be able to see if your friends are online, as well as invite them to join the game. Companies that are expected to develop Facebook Connected-apps include Citysearch, EA Sports and MTV.
