Exynos 5433 in the Note 4 is a 64-bit chipset, source code reveals

The Note 4 would be the first pro forma 64-bit Android flagship, or at least that will go for its reincarnation with Samsung's own Exynos 5433 chipset. Just as suspected, despite that the naming scheme still puts it in the Exynos 5x family, the newest Samsung chipset is not a Cortex-A15/A7 affair, but rather takes the next step in ARM's mobile architecture, by incorporating the 64-bit A57/A53 configuration, as its source code reveals...

It beats even the Snapdragon 805 quite comfortably http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench3/compare/752193?baseline=775311

Oh but wait the snapdragon completely destroys the exynos version in memory performance :o that's bad

I think Samsung deliberately reduced the memory speed so it can give similar performance to S805, reference big.LITTLE A53/A57 have same memory bandwidth with S805 at 25.6 GB/s and ideally supposed to run at 64-bit dual channel 1600 MHz, but you can see Samsung put them at 32-bit dual channel 825 MHz.

I'm just for a release date. Hopefully the Exynos LTE modems play nice with AT&T.

Please read source article properly or visit the XDA threadhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/general/to-snapdragon-805-to-exynos-5433-t2868247 These articles provide very less or misleading information.

Unfortunately no The Alpha has the 32-bit 5430, not the 64-bit 5433

so Samsung doesnt want to advertise 64bit to avoid a marketing gimmick unlike apple...

that's what it look like, because apple have never talked about how consumers can take advantage of that 64bit

In my view consumers cannot take advantage of apple's 64bit bcoz they are still using 1gb ram which makes it marginal over 32bit

I don't care about benchmarks Exynos variants are always the ones that lag the most when compared to Samsung's SD variants

The Exynos 5433 destroys the SD 805 in it's 32-bit factor wait till Android L update comes to this beast (that's not far away) the processor that you can compare it with the 5433 is the SD 810 or the Tegra K1 and the results will be very similar.

You think so? You think that a 64 bit octo-core cpu lag?!! Even with 4 Cortex A57 cores clocked at 1.9GHz and even with graphics Mali T760 at 700MHz with problably 16 cores, that is +/- 342 gigaflops, and still you think that the performance in your opinion it's worse and inferior to Snapdragon 805? You are f**ked of your head.
