Super AMOLED in just a brand name o_O Quality has to do with pixel arrangement which Samsung cheated on for many years. The new LG 4k OLED has perfectly accurate colors/white balance.

Only thing it will be good for is a marketing bullet point. And so trolls can start saying 2K screens are for a mid-range device.

Just imagine the clarity of porn on those displays. Such realism.

Am I the only one to think that this is getting way out of hand and is a chronic ailment of misplaced priorities afflicting manufacturers? How about pouring some bread into developing battery tech that allows one charge a week? And while going about it, how about looking into bloatware & late updates. Pure android without custom skins, bloatware and instant OS updates n fixes would score over whose d**k is bigger wars. Seriously any bigger, and the d**k can't do what it's meant to do.

not really stuff like this makes prices fall all over the world lowering the bar of entry to really nice high end speced cheap phones and prices fall in other industries that use amoled tech like tvs,vr ect

And yet we have no OLED displays in the 12-40 inch size range. OLED is a superior technology. Why is no one willing to manufacture them?
