Rumors that E-TEN is working on a new Pocket PC phone have been backed up by some details as well as pictures of the handset, surfacing the net. The new device, called G500, seems to be very similar to the previous model - the M600, with the exception of the WiFi, which appears to be replaced by an integrated SiRFStarIII GPS receiver. The main features of the quad-band GSM phone are:

  • 2.8-inch QVGA 65k TFT display
  • Bluetooth v.1.2 class 2 (A2DP Profile supported)
  • 1.3 mega pixels camera with flash
  • 400MHz Samsung processor
  • 128MB Flash ROM / 64 MB SDRAM
  • miniSD memory expansion slot
