For the antutu benchmark addicts, z5c just got 65307 points in btekt and he made it clear that it's the final retail version. While adrianisen have ui lag issues with his device. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fpVMiAOQE0https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Om8LHKMwjU

Hey but where are all the picture and video samples? I'm not particularly familiar with DXOmark but how can they just give us a list of numbers with no samples to back it up with?

theirs no reason at all for samsung fanboys to cry. Samsung phones continuously held the first place since the launch of galaxy s5. Later the note 4 too was rated the best only to be trumphed by the galaxy s6. Dont fly too high on that hot air baloon sony fanboys , the galaxy s6 with its 16 MP camera has the same exact still photo score as the Xperia z5 and has been tried and tested and proved its capability in the real world too. Its too early for you sony fanboys to celebrate i think, the xperia z5 had the same exact dxo mark score as the galaxy s5 but the camera sucked big time in real world

Those DXOmark are just numbers. They don't do well in real life. Go checkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aybrBYKmqZg&list=UUIrrRLyFMVmmL9NDAU2obJA&index=12

Too bad ATT treats Sony like the redheaded step child. Would love to give the premium a go, but not paying full price

Can't wait for the full reviews. I have a z3 and I want an upgrade, but I don't need one

But it won't matter if people can't get their hands on it. As much as I love Microsoft and Windows Phone, if the Z5 came to T-Mobile I would get it over every other phone offered. The camera was the slight disappointment of my Z3. Mainly, Sony's unwillingness to open the Camera2 API so photo enthusiasts like myself can take advantage of the camera.

Try the app Camera FV-5 its give me amazing shot on my Z1 ( better than the S6 with stock camera app )

I am so sick of hearing about this app now. I had it and it was terrible for me. The UI was very outdated. If anything I would be using the Manual Camera app or ProShot but since Sony has not included the Camera2 APIs, they are useless to me anyway.

Z5 uses Camera API2 ^^

No. Just no. I have a Z3 compact. My Z3 compact can't beat the S6 with whatever app against whatever app. My best picture on the Z3 comes close to the best pic on the S6, but 99% of the S6 pictures are perfect while 80% from my Z3 are a miss. I have to take like 4 pictures before I get a clean shot with my Z3. Will buy a Z5 only because it (finally) has full manual controls (new app incoming).

Kudos Sony, you proved that only you can make the best out of your Sensors. Maybe bit late but better late than never. Jiski lathi uski bhains ;)

Took them long enough. How long until Sony adds OIS? Their digital stabilisation is in a league of its own but I want more!!!!

I thought it looked quite promising in the samples a few weeks ago, close to if not better than the Galaxy S6' camera. I do find a good camera in my smartphone very important. A Sony Xperia Z6 is looking like my next phone, still loving the Z1 except the TFT LCD screen which sucks in bright light situations.

So Xperia Z5 series has the best Autofocus & Video stabilization. Laser autofocus seems not as good as its name and even the 3 axis OIS no match for Digital SteadyShot. Sony if you really want to completely destroy your competitors you better find a way to put high quality lens like your Sony FE 90 mm Macro G lens and 5 axis Stabilization like the one on Sony a7II/RII/SII.

Now I want to see what the OIS lovers have to say. Best camera in thinnest body. Pretty impressive.

Sony got better stabilization with digital solution than any other OEM got with OIS + DIS. Even Z3 and Z4 had better stabilization than S6 and G4. Where are all the trolls yelling "No OIS = FAIL"? Now, if Sony manages to keep S810 in check and battery life on their usual level this will be one sweet package.

don't celebrate yet. we still want sony to adopt OIS. OIS can allow the xperias to take better photos with slightly longer exposure time and lower ISO.

The only time I really wished for OIS with my Z3C is when taking "Night Scene" pictures... since it really needs to be steady (tripod steady) to turn out great... However, their noise reduction works very good and it looks better on pictures even on higher ISO than results from other devices.
