Dummy units of the R2-D2 version of the DROID 2 begin to arrive in stores
With a week until online sales commence for the R2-D2 version of the Motorola DROID 2, Verizon stores appear to be getting in dummy units of the special looking smartphone. Although it's not in functioning form, it does provide us some good insights as to what the actual handset will look like.

As you can tell, the rear of the phone is fashioned in similar style to the everyone's lovable R2-D2 unit. There also appears to be a silver metallic looking bezel outlining the handset – which does add to its premium construction.

Even though this will be seen as a potential option for possible owners, we all have to keep in mind about the slightly refreshed version of the Motorola DROID 2 that's expected to come some time soon as well – decisions, decisions.
