For gamers, Don't Starve doesn't need any presentations, but for those who occasionally fire up a game on their smartphones it's worth mentioning the title has more than 6 million players on PC.

Developed by Klei Entertainment, Don't Starve is a survival game where players can experience “the uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science and magic.” The good news is the game is now available on Android devices, one year after developers launched the iOS version.

Don't Starve: Pocket Edition is not your average survival game, as players will enter a strange and unexplored world full of weird creatures, dangers, as well as … surprises (both good and bad).

Aside from the survivalist side, the game also features a crafting system, which will allow players to survive in a harsh environment. In Don't Starve: Pocket Edition, you will play as Wilson, “an intrepid Gentleman Scientist” who is now trapped and transported against his will to a mysterious wilderness world where he must survive and unravel the mysteries of this strange land.

Take advantage of what the environment throws at you, but also find ways to benefit from its inhabitants, if you hope to escape and find your way home.

Don't Starve: Pocket Edition for Android doesn't come for free, but it won't cost you a fortune. It's now available on Google Play for $4.99 and requires devices powered by Android 5.0 and up. Also, it doesn't feature in-app purchases yet.
