Does the HTC 10 strike your fancy?

The dust surrounding the new HTC 10 has subsided a bit, but it's by no means going out of our scope. Quite the contrary, in fact: we're hopeful that HTC has nailed it this time. Indeed, the HTC 10 could very well turn out to be the HTC device we've been waiting for in the past few years...

There's nothing wrong with being a fanboy, long as you don't throw shades at the competition or even insult those who support them :)

The pure specs are promising, epecially its camera but dont you think its ugly? The metal body looks ok but the front looks bad. Big side bezels and the capacitive buttons placed so unsymetrical vertically. I really want to like this phone so lets hope performance will crush its uglyness.

Big side bezels? Can you share what you are smoking :O or am I missing out on some international definition for "small bezels" cuz I'm seeing none of that on this phone.

It's not noticeable on these pictures, but look up some hands on video on youtube, and you'll see that side bezels are a bit thick, at least for 2016.

I did watch many of those hands on videos but I never had the thought that it was a larger than normal bezel for 2016. Anyways, who came up with a standard for bezel in 2016? :O

Some phone have smaller bezel. Personally i prefer to have some meat on the side so if you drop the phone its wont break easily. this phone with a tempered glass screen protector and no cases will be able to survive a lots :)

So far everything I've seen has been good. HTC might have just built a winner this year. Camera tests will tell. The square design is nothing to be excited about and seeing the metal frame from the front kinda annoys me but I guess I can live with that.

The answer hinges on the battery.

Exactly. They literally hit every note on the scale. This looks to be one of the best Android flagship smartphone for the 1st half of 2016.

a step in the right direction for HTC. I just love it. i can't understand why people nag about the capacitive buttons. it economizes screen space and uses a dead area in the bezels. what's not to like about that? I just hope their marketing will be able to give them the needed selling numbers to rebuild the brand's image.

because on htc phones you can hide and bring up the on-screen easily so there really isnt a dead area.

That asymmetrical placement of home button is making me uncomfortable every time I look at it.

The HTC 10 makes me excited for the rumored HTC Nexus I was disappointed with the design in leaks, but it actually looks really nice in motion

Even if in front it looks like a samsung it's very premium looking phone. I can't wait for a full review of this.

I like anything good n so far,htc delivers the best from them, yet.if u don't like it,what else we could say? It's all depends on many factors;prices, budgets, personal preferences,availability,hands-on experiences and also your sentimental value towards certain brands.each of the flagships announced recently offers variety of pro n cons compared among,if it suits you?go for it.if it's not,buy other phones :)

I like it.. Pending reviews, and although I'd miss AMOLED, I think I'd probably choose it over the current competition for the sake of software.

From what i read its has the best possible IPS pannel its 30% more luminous than competition and has better colors reproduction. Still wont beat the amoled on colors reproduction but will probably on max brightness.

I don't like the black front.Pocket dust gathers around the edges of the bezels. No white or silver face in the US ......... No sale to me...... yes I'm that petty.

HTC finally got it right!! As stated by a pre-reviewer, HTC started the big pixel mentality but they did it wrong using 4MP. M10 is the most versatile/complete phone right now except that it does not have IR-remote control. It seems HTC is not leaving anything to chances since they evenadded OIS for the front camera which is an overkill IMO. Anyway, I think I will buy this one. I am about to cancel my LG G4 order. Hopefully, the real lisfe experience match the impressive specs.
