Do you use wireless charging on a regular basis? (results)

We asked you last week how often do you actually charge your handset wirelessly, given that this is an increasingly common option that is now available on iPhones and Androids alike, but is slower compared to conventional cable charging, and requires an extra accessory. A lot of phone makers moved to glass bodies to to facilitate wireless charging, and we wanted to gauge whether this has been worth all the cracked rears.

As an LG phone owner, I do use wireless charging when I am not in hurry. If I am in hurry I connect it to a Quickcharger. I have that Ikea lamp with a built-in wireless pad.

I will when TRUE WIRELESS CHARGING is offered. One that works like BT or NFC. Onr that does not need any external cable.

Why does it need to be “true” wireless charging? Placing it on a mat to charge is still more convenient than plugging it in.

Actually, I find it’s quite the opposite. The biggest inconvenience is not being able to touch my phone while it’s charging. If you were still using micro USB I can see how it would be annoying but with lightning and Usb c it’s easy

Depends how you use it I guess. Rarely will I finish a day with less than 60% charge because I have pads or cradles in my office, car and nightstand. If it's down, it's often charging. So I can grab and use it without worrying about it not charging.

Why can't you touch it while it's charging? They sell some decent stands, ex: Just throw it on one of these things, put it near your keyboard or wherever it's convenient. Play games/text/read/whatever while it's wirelessly charging.

Only when you leave the phone but if you still want to use it then it's not convenient at all. I use an s7e now and it gets hot on the wireless charging + i need to use my phone almost the whole time because of work so I'm not using it at all anymore. I think the battery degrades faster with wireless charging cause mine has within 3 months of use considerably less stamina. From 18% - 0% in 4 minutes of YouTube with low brightness -_-

Every time I go to bed. Just set the phone down on the charger, done.

Wireless is useless. 1 ur phone gets incredibly hot. 2. U cant use it while its charging. 3. Its slower then using the reg wire charge. 4. Means the phone has to have a glass back as of these days. Which means ur phone is now in a thin case 24/7. And i hate cases.

They should have added and option of "My phone doesn't offer wireless charging". All those No's make me thing half of them do not even have wireless charging.

I have a wireless charger. I use it a lot, as a coaster for my hot drinks and it also holds up as a pretty good frisbee
