Do you prefer a battery case or a power bank?

Smartphones are amazing — snappy computers right in our pockets, which can deliver connectivity, games, media, or produce a camera on demand. For all their awesome features, users will agree that smartphones still lack in one area — battery life. Truth be told, there's only so much battery the manufacturers can stuff inside an elegant smartphone's body, at least with today's technologies.

I Have a powerbank, because it will charge phone, tablet and camera. But I now have a phone with a proper sized battery (4000 mAh Huawei Mate 9) that lasts at least a day and often two. That saves the weight and cumbersome nature of either solution. My latest tablet was also great but the battery has lost capacity as it aged (2 years old) and now occasionally needs a top up (Samsung galaxy tab s 8.4). I cannot even buy a NEW replacement battery, only one the same age as my tablet! If more manufacturers provided a proper battery that allowed replacement without special tools, this question would be unnecessary.
