i dont even think phonearena.com knows what the hell they are talking about here.. the incredible STILL surpasses MOST new android phones that are being released now. its everything the droid x is, only better with sense UI.. so what if the screen is a little smaller.. that 4"+ screen is ridiculous. phones have become FAR too large. i cant even operate the droid x with one hand. both phones have android 2.2, and run flash 10.1.. so whats the deal? oh yeah, dell is making crappy rubbish phones now, so they want to get rid of anything else. so what gives? its better than the fascinate & continuum (which are the same phones with smaller screens and one has a stupid ass "ticker" screen) better build than the droid2.. its not the phone. its the user interface.. and the new HTC phones coming out have the same UI, and other than that, its all about the operating system.. which is the latest build of android. this phone is not outdated until a new HTC UI comes out, OR until a new version of android comes out and is not made available for the phone.

well we have different opinions though. but at the end of the day....STILL THE TWO PHONE ARE ONE OF THE BESTS. we cant even see their differences because all of them are fast... all of them have same features... its now just a matter of brand name if we talk about android and some customizations and services that keeps every manufacturers apart.

Mr. Droid, you're exactly right. I don't see anything that surpasses Incredible yet. Certainly not Droid X???

no. not the droid x. i just put in a few replies to some other posts. besides its short battery life and the fact that the screen is a tad bit hard to read in direct sunlight, there is no downside to the droid incredible.

some say that the choice of materials is sub-par.. well, its plastic people!! motorola uses some aluminum, but so what? every other phone out there is plastic. get used to it! thats the way it is. metal is cold. too cold to hold up to my ear/face and talk on for sure. so deal with it. plastic makes it possible.

It still is a cutting edge phone. And as others have stated, LARGER SCREENS ARE BULL$!&T.

but for now, dual core processors are not on the market for us to purchase yet, so this is where it is at.

actually, a new version of the incredible is on its way out, first quarter of 2011 (late in the first quarter, end of February) and it has the same processor as the incredible more or less. no dual core in it. basically an incredible with a slightly larger screen.

I would have to say that the droid incredible is a great phone to have, PA rate the phones off their scale of tid bits but I work with these phones all day and I have enjoyed my personal experiance with my HTC incredible, I love HTC software that makes the driod even that much better, the droid X and samsung both have issues that make it frustrating to use. the widgets on the X even though you can resize them are very poor and the Bing on the samsung make the navigation frustrating. Plus with the Android 2.2 and flash, comon! its awesome. im excited to see what HTC will pull out of the hat next.

I placed an order for this "free" phone and have had nothing but trouble in getting it. I ordered it on 11/27/10 by phone through Dell. Recevied an email 2 minutes after I ordered saying I need to verify my order with Verizon at 1-888-843-2458. The number is forwarded to another number that is continuously busy. I called Dell Mobility, spoke with 9 people who can not find my order. I called Verizon, they said I need to call Dell!! Ugh!! I'm gonna try to just order it again if they can't find my order. Sale is supposed to end today.

Now I am being told that the "free" HTC Incredible went through a third party, "Simplexity". Only they would have my order number/ information. Only 8 staff at Dell Mobility know about the 3rd party for this phone. Geeze! Dell forwarded my call to Simplexity. On hold.

Udate! After holding for 67 minutes with Simplexity (I think), my order for the "Free" Droid Incredible was verified. Should be shipped in 12 hours. We will see!

My bad. I suspended my phone when it got wet, which is why I am ordering a new one. This is what is holding up my order apparently. Just unsuspended it. Geeeeze!
