"Slick" and "chunky", two words not often used together when describing the same thing, yet the Dell Venue Pro fuses both into a paradoxical package we're very excited about...

My old sharp phone looks exactly like this but just smaller handheld bar phone with vertical slider keypads, thus I really look into this phone. WX-T82 was the name I think.

my thumbs are too big and long to use a portrait qwerty. I have problems on my Wife's Palm Pre.

i'd say your the majority, VERY few phones have this form factor, which is bad for me because I love this form factor. I'm lost without a hardware querty and i don't have the patience for the screen to rotate from portrait to landscape when its a landscape keyboard. Likely jumping from Sprint Palm Pre to Tmobile for this phone.

Hey, this one looks really great, and it seems it feels nice too :D. Way better than the HD7 in these areas.

That is your point of view... on a personal level, I do not use any qwerty keyboard, and opt for the soft keyboards (swype is my favorite) 99% of the time. I use my phone in portrait mode about 80% of the time anyways as I just prefer to read things top to bottom over longer left to right. Web Searching would be easy nav with a hardware keyboard with portrait style use. This will definitely hit a market, and be received well. I would buy it... but alas, CDMA gets no WinMo7 love form MS until mid 2011... jealous of you tmo and att users stateside... but at least there should be no excuses for a vzw lte phone or a sprint wimax phone... right?

i just can't believe they made such a wretched look operating system. i thought nothing could out-ugly the KIN and be less user friendly than Android.
