Exciting... looks like John Chen is making all the right moves for BlackBerry. I hope the Passport is marketed correctly when it comes out.

Rumor has it that Chen is waiting for the Passport and BB10.3 launch to start the BlackBerry marketing blitz. Said they're going to make a strong push.

Nice! Can't wait to see how that turns out! It feels like it's been a while since BlackBerry had any kind of marketing campaign. On another note, it looks like both apiskula AND meanestgenius are on timeouts. apiskula, as everyone should agree, definitely deserved it. But I don't see why meanest is in the same boat. I just saw it as someone presenting facts regarding BB whenever someone came around with misleading information.

Well,, Chen said that since they don't have the budget of a Samsung or Apple, that they have to pick and choose the right time to go on a marketing blitz. He said the 10.3 update coupled with the Passport release is the right time tdo it. As for MeanestGenius and APisskula, I agree. APisskula needed to be sat down for long time now. I'm surprised his trolling was tolerated for so long. I'm sure it's all good for Meanest though. He strikes me as the kind of dude that would happily take one for #TeamBlackBerry if it meant getting one of these trolls on a time out.

I hope the new advertising president is a bit more aggressive with a twist of smart and a dash of funny. It could be a good recipe. I think Mr. Chen has placed good people where they will succeed and benefit BB. I agree in regards to apiskula's "time out". He has been a "Debbie Downer" toward BB for quite awhile. I think meanest what a bit too vehement and disparaging in his remarks. I think I've come close when responding to apiskula and a few others that behave similarly.

APisskula was more than just a "Debbie Downer". He was a troll of epic proportions. All Meanest did was counteract his trolling with facts. But it seems that APisskula has made his way back in the form of JBishops. Like we wouldn't be able to recognize his trolling. Only two posts to his name and what does he do? Come straight to a four day old article and post the same trolling crap. I wonder who his buddy WackyWahu will come back as?

I m using Nexus 4 n Q10. Both are my daily phone. I like the keyboard of Q10. For me, Nexus will be my Social n Media phone but Q10 will be my Business phone. I will upgrade to passport when it comes to Malaysia. Passport looks awesome...

They should do a deeper discount on Blackberry products. Sort of like a liquidation sale. Who buys these products anyway? Much better options for consumers in the mobile market than Blackberry. People have moved on

No need for a liquidation sale, they're actually starting to turn a profit. But you're right they should price their products better. BlackBerry has a bigger market than you think, and if you take a look at their products and try them out, you'll see that their devices are much better than a lot of other products out there.

Android fairs much better in the market than Blackberry ever will again. They had the chance and they are no longer relevant. Time for put up the RIP Blackberry

Ha! I wonder if he's using his Yahoo or Gmail account for that one? Or could he have a brother or twin? However, I don't think we need to discuss him while he's out. It just feeds the monster and gives him undo attention. Who's ready for the release of Passport?

Good point, NS! I for one cannot wait for the release of the Passport. I just don't know if I can justify purchasing one when I just got the Z30 a few months ago at full retail. Any idea how much it might cost?

You could wait to see the price and maybe trade in the Z30. Just an idea...
