And then the Note 4 display will trickle down to the S6, and we can finally drop this silly argument.

That is simply false. DisplayMate rate the S5 as the best display ever only surpassed by the Note 4. It is way more color accurate than an LCD made. PERIOD. Those are facts I can prove because it was proven by DisplayMate who actually use software and facts to calibrate displays and test them. I will believe them before I believe you and Luis.

Luis just published the article. Usually Ray or John V does the "display tests" so please direct the anger towards them.

Who's name is on tis article? That's right it says Luis, so I did direct my factual spill to the right person. It's not anger. I didn't get angry. The article doesn't say Ray or John did the tests, and even if it did why would it matter? The didn't right this article. Maybe you should make sure you have your facts straight, before correcting someone. Oh and FYI, providing facts isn't anger. That's the problem with you fanbois. When someone points you to facts, it has to be anger, say something bad and it has to be hate. You point means nothing because the 2 people you mentioned didn't write this article.

Actually, the S5 was tested at the top of the heap, also. It's a better tech, and unlike LCD, it's still improving in leaps and bounds.

True and to be honest I wasn't, and still am, not much of a fan of AMOLED displays because they had this artificial electric blue hue that just didn't look right to me. Don't know if they still look that way today, but LCDs are more natural looking.

You can adjust the white balance on the Z3/Z3c via settings, no root required.

I recently did that with my Z3C, but I believe Sony is right with its statement: "Sony argues that the coldness is deliberate, throwing in some stats about people's perception of cold screens as brighter" After changing the White Balance to the values recommended by PA (R250/G190/B0) and even tweaking it to other less agressive values, the screen seemed a lot less bright!!!, so I decided to adapt to the default settings and in exchange get a "brigther" display that needs less backlight and thus even more battery... BTW yesterday I got getting over 6 hours of Screen On time (STAMINA MODE OFF), after using the phone for taking lots of pictures, videos, playing games and I watched "The Interview" completely on the phone... and at the end of the day I still had 18% of battery..... Incredible...

What about both iPhone with their washed out colors? I mean, they can't be accurate when they look like the photo was washed in a washing machine...right?

What about the iPhone displays too? Color accuracy is based on a Kelvin scale. Display-Mates rates the iPhone 6 display @ Very Good Calibration White Point Slightly Too Blue 7,241 K iPhone 6 Plus Very Good Calibration White Point Slightly Too Blue 7,348 K Galaxy S5 6,755 K Close to Standard White Accurate Pro Mode D65 with 6,500 K is the standard color of White for most Consumer Content and needed for accurate color reproduction of all images. 6500K is consider perfect accurate color reproduction. You put the Galaxy S 5 on the list and that is an absolute lie. According to DisplayMate which is a reputable company unlike fan-bias iPhoneArea, It lists the S5 at 6700 which is much closer to accurate vs the iPhones 6's at over 7300. Dude, if you are going to report, report frikking facts you bias crappy writer. It doesn't make any sese for you to lie to the public when you know it is bias unfactual information. I am so sick of these lying ass writers who sit their and knowing lie and put Apple I a favorable light and then lie with hate against other companies like Samsung. You know as a fact, the display on the S5 and Note 4 were rated the top smartphones displays EVER!!!!. For you to sit their as say the S5 has the worse color accuracy when it has been rated by a top company which rates displays is utterly misleading and bias you prick. FIRE!!!! this lying POS writer from the world. I hope if you own an iPhone it blows up in your face and make you blind for the rest of your life permanently. If you all you are blind mentally anyways.

Huh, I wasn't aware that anyone could be so passionate (frenzied) over consumer electronic ratings. Not angry? Really? Count your exclamation points and capital letters.

I don't listen to the prejudice grammar police. I spoke a factual statement and you having a baby because I misspelled a word? I rather have a misspelled word and be 100% right, then to sell them all right and be totally wrong. I made my point and it is valid. Go police someone else.

Hi papa, notice the mistakes this dumb made on 2 of his accounts. sight in comment 25 by TechieXP1969 and sight in comment 39 as maherk. whatever he is up to, I'm glad he can repel samsung fans by his childish comments. To be honest if it wasn't for these paid/dumb fanboys, I would totally go Samsung, but the thing is that company only cares about numbers to fill the mouth of customers. Ones who used it and compared it with other brands (with a sound mind) would know what I mean.

The Z3 screen is fantastic. I prefer the much cooler colors, makes the screen look sharp and crisp.
