AT&T Cingular is the first carrier to offer the new
RIM BlackBerry 8800 just a few days after it was officially announced. The successor of the 8700 adds some Pearl features, first of which is the look. This one is glossy-black stylish phone with metal elements and of course a small Pearl trackball. The 8800 is also the first hi-end BlackBerry with memory card slot and multimedia player. The great new feature is the built-in GPS.
The BlackBerry 8800 is offered for $299 after mail-in rebate and 2-year contract with AT&T (Cingular).
