So what are you saying? Are you saying that you have proof that Steve Jobs and President Obama sat down and devised a plan to use the Chicago court system as a way for Apple to steal Android secrets? You can hate the president all you want, that is your right. But to think that he actually wants the destruction of the Android ecosystem is a bit of a stretch.

they sat down multiple times to discuss deals. we don't know what they talked about but it is definitely not outside the realm of possibility that they traded favors. its probably not personal for Obama... just a returned favor. to think that's not possible u would have to believe that Obama isnt a corrupt politician like they all are, and that jobs was not an a-hole that has a personal vendetta against android and wouldn't use any dirty trick to bring the robot down. both of their track records say that is possible. true or not we will never know, but it is most definitely possible the proof was for the undead voting.

My are slipping ever so dangerously into sounding like acertain someone who shall remain nameless, who was banned a few months ago. You're looking for any reason to hate Obama at this point its getting scarry. He's plenty for for to hate already... but now your hating him for something that you THINK may have happend? Com'on!

dude every politician is corrupt and we all know Jobs was as well. we don't know 1/100th of the conversations Obama has with anyone. its conjecture for sure but the track record for both of these men suggests its within the realm of possibility. that's not Obama hate specifically, that's just knowing that our politicians are corrupt and work for the highest bidder... Obama is no exception. I wouldn't put it past any politician on either side. its just especially troubling when its In a very politically corrupt city, where the president happens to call home, where his old right hand man who has had numerous corruption and strong arm charges filed against including being part of the blagovich seat selling scandal is now mayor, and shortly after he had private and secret talks with Jobs. it may be coincidence but there are an awful lot of common dots there.

Favors are one thing... total destruction of a company is another. Politicians that high up generally dont pay back favors in that mannor. Do I believe there was some corruption at play here... heck yeah! Do I believe Obama placed a call to some judge to say, "Rule in Apple's favor no matter what"... Absolutely not! The corruption in Chicago is very local. Washington has very little to do with anything that happens in Chicago and they know it. The politics in that city is ruled with a mob like mentality, one which Rahm Emanuel can't even begin to understand, let alone influence or control. Apple greased the right palm alright, but it wasn't in Washington.

rahm and Obama were very much a part of the mob style political corruption. remember Obama himself was called into question for the political favors he got his house with. he used those same favors to get michelle a huge salary position she couldn't have gotten without him. he may be in Washington for now but they are very much a part of the local corruption. and why couldn't he? he could have promised that judge campaign backing or support for some cause, or a position higher up the food chain since rham is in charge . no one said he was out to destroy any one company. just that he might have had a hand somehow in this decision... to see internal moto and google documents... which again is not outside possibility had it not been in Chicago none of these dots would have fit so easily and the correlation would not have been made.

LOL! Obama has no pull in Chicago. That's your own hatred talkin buddy. The Daily family runs this town, and there isn't a thing Obama can say to change that. He couldn't even get elected to congress here. Just look up Obama vs Bobby Rush. He is considered an outsider here too because he was a man of the people. He faught the little guys here. Chicago politicians didn't like him at all! You may have read a few articles here and there, but I live here. I have seen it with my own eyes. Just because ILLINOIS elected him to the senate, doesn't mean he had any power in Chicago. Ask some other people from Chicago who has more power; Obama, Emanuel, or ex-mayor Daily. I bet you a dollar to a dounut that 9 out of 10 will agree with me that the old mayor has much more clout then the current president.

Apple probably promised the judge free iPads and iPhones for a lifetime, if he would rule in their favor, or at least a hefty check to pay him off. Our justice system is crooked and can be bought out by the highest bidder. If I had billions of dollars I could get a judge to rule in my favor and hand over to me Apple's iOS source codes. What a corrupt country we live in. I'll never ever ever ever buy any Apple products. I've talked several people into not buying one either. I'll continue this because it makes me happy to know I'm making Apple lose business, even though it's small, but it will grow in numbers I assure you.

Chicago isn't the only place where people do stupid things like that. Look at all the voter suppression that's taking place right now. Pretty soon, they bring back the "How many jelly beans in that jar?" test that prevented millions of people from voting.

Google will get this overturned on appeal. Besides, what Phonearena and every other site this is mentioned on fail to say is that Google is under no legal obligation to provided any documents unless directly subpoenad to so so. Google isn't apart of this court case so good luck to Apple getting any information.

Chicago, the circuit court and the judge probably got paid by Apple enormous amount of $$$$... That's just how the city and/or state works... Sad but true...

Is that really what you want...forApple to destroy Android? Are you not a fan of choice, or do you believe a monopoly would be good for the industry?

whatever I believe doesn't change a thing... I know people laugh at Apple moniker for changing things again and again.. but is true.. car manufacturers copy each other all the time.. Apple change all that.. now you cant have anything to simulates their product... I am not quick to judge... I want to see how this will turn out.. but one thing I am certain. Innovation will not stop... we may pay a price for that. but most people are worried about innovation moving forward and I don't see that stopping anytime soon... Android will exist... and Apple will exist...

I agree with you there. I dont think this will stop innovation either, but these kinds of rulings are very distractive to that process. Can you imagine Chrysler having right to approve or disapprove of every car Ford makes. Nothing would ever get done. And it isn't about being fair to these companies, its about narrowing the end users choices. If Apple can prevent Android from making any advancements, history shows they will try. This is like opening the gate so the wolf can come in. Can you trust a wolf to NOT eat your livestock?

i agree with you... on that.. but I hate when people mention that will stop innovation.. when so far.. look at the Note... the RAZR,,the HTC One... but the wars need to stop.. i dont care the results. just stop them..

Interesting stuff here, I wonder why that court agreed to allow this anyway? It will most likely get appealed before any sort of papers will be given over. You clowns keep your political crap off this site, has absolutely nothing to do with cell phones. Don't care about who you like or don't like, didn't come here to read your political views. Ignorance is bliss but sometimes people feel that they need to give you a piece of their mind, like you asked them for their brand of intelligence? Shut it up and keep it on topic yes? Here comes gallito, it's apparent that you have some very odd behavior patterns but you are one of the biggest followers I have ever seen on a site, but I applaud you for not just being one of those cowardly trolls who just thumb people down and not post your own, Miz and company? This site has a lot of factions on it, in fact it almost looks like the American political system, oh the irony of it all.

I'm not a clown, and I was trying g to keep it on topic, but remixfa has been spouting is irrational political views for some time now on this site. Normally I ignore it but enough is enough. Why the moderators on this site never said anything to him before I did is beyond me. But I agree with you. Politics has no place on this site. It's what I was saying in all of my comments.
