Check out this amazing 240fps slow-mo of a hummingbird shot with the Nexus 6P

A slow-mo video shot with 240fps on the Nexus 6P has popped up on Google's Dave Burke G+ account. The hummingbird has been chosen as a subject by no accident, as its wings flap about 50 times per second to keep them still in the air while gorging on nectar, so the slow-mo video shows the whole process in a way a human eye can't see.

That video looked fake as f**k. I'm watching it on a tiny iPhone 5 in portrait mode :(

I don't care about the slow-motion, but the sharpness and clarity and punchy colors looks absolutely amazing. Am curious as to why Samsung doesn't put 240FPS recording in the software when the phone is more than capable of doing it. I wouldn't use it, I am just curious as to why its not there.

I was thinking exactly the same. My Note 5 is not doing as good as this video (really impressive imo). C'mon Sammy you should be in the game.

They took the isheep advice about not going as balls to the walls as before to keep touch wiz clean. So I think they cut this which isn't surprising at all. The only thing so far this year Samsung should have done was they should have used sapphire on the Gesr S2 and on the camera lens of their flagships. Even suck TC had sapphire on the camera lens of the M9. Other than that, spot on this year.

At what resolution, PA? The iPhone 6s can do 240 at 720p and 120 at 1080p.
