Check out these sketches allegedly revealing the Nokia 8 and Nokia 9

Two sketches have surfaced today that allegedly reveal the upcoming Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 models. HMD, with the licensing rights to the Nokia name, plans to cover all price points with the release of as many as seven phones. Thus far, the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 have been unveiled. Just a word to the wise; the sketches that accompany this story could merely be concept drawings, or they could be the real thing...

Thanks for a good laugh. Anyway, only foolish Nokia fanboys would still think it's the same Nokia a decade ago.

The S8 has already been preordered in Korea alone more than those Nokia will sell worldwide combined. By no means I mean saying they'll be bad phones, but ain't no Samsung fanboy hurt.

"The S8 has already been preordered in Korea alone more than those Nokia will sell worldwide combined" Ignoring the fact that Nokia crushed Samsung along 14 years, and Samsung only took Nokia's position when Nokia moved to Windows Phone.

"Ignoring the fact that Nokia crushed Samsung along 14 years, and Samsung only took Nokia's position when Nokia moved to Windows Phone." But Nokia did that with feature phones, though... not with smartphones. The pre-order number which @haruken was talking of, is pre-orders of smartphones, not feature phones... And hey, I think Nokia began dying even before it switched to Windows Phone, due to the Symbian OS losing market share to iOS and Android. So, Samsung took Nokia's position because Nokia's Symbian OS wasn't was the best option anymore. Why would Nokia move to Windows Phone if it's Symbian OS was still relevant?

I think Samsung couldn't compete with Nokia in any sector of mobile business before. They failed competing with Nokia's basic phones, feature phones, smartphones run Symbian like in N and E Series, and even Samsung miserably failed when tried to compete the Lumia with the Ativ, which is in WP. I guess same thing would have happened if NOKIA adopted Android. People love and trust Nokia, and the only problem with Nokia was the operating system they implemented in their phones.

No seriously though, this is a better overall phone than the galaxy s8, the galaxy note 8 might be as good and a bit better than it but the galaxy s8 isn't. Galaxy s8 is the best phone now. I like Samsung but this nokia 9 is a beast

HMD is using more than just the Nokia name. If that thing is carrying Carl Z optics and Nokia camera software with vanilla android that gets quick updates (as they've promised), I would definitely consider trading in my S8+ for it. Honestly, why doesnt Google just buy up the Nokia name/patents and use their facilities to make their own amazing pure android handsets.

Because they already tried that with Motorola, which I thought they did very well at considering the Nexus 6 was one of the better Nexus devices to ever be produced. And that was also back when the Moto X was a great device at a decent price.

Eventually they had to sell off Motorola due to OEM pressure, since the Motos would even beat Nexii when it came to update speed and stability. However under Lenovo not all is bad. Motos still get comparitively quicker updates and they are now available in more countries than ever before...

Nokia is going for its for it's former users. Being in the same market with Samsung and other OEM, if the phones are going to be good and proceed right, it is going to make a dent in other OEMs sales, which is good, because the world really needs a good Android manufacturer.

Nokia 9 fingerprint scanner is at the back not under the display glass.
