Check out the last few seconds of a OnePlus 5 television ad

With the OnePlus 5 due to be introduced on Tuesday during a live streaming feed, and then launched via a flash sale a couple of days later, Amazon India has started advertising the latest flagship killer on television. The last few seconds of a commercial for the device were recorded directly off of a television, which explains the poor quality of the clip...

About the phone, all I can say is this: DOES A CHINESE PHONE REALLY HAS TO LOOK LIKE A BLOODY IPHONE CLONE...? FIRST XIAOMI, THEN CAME OPPO/VIVO AND NOW WE HAVE THIS...??? (In case you're wondering, yes, I'm shouting... Obnoxious, eh..? Not as much as this phone, I trust...) Oh well, G'Da... Nah! iDay!

Entire lines of Oppo and Vivo consisted of iPhone clones and that duo dominates more than a third of smartphone market in China. So plagiarism pays well there. Xiaomi took some elements here and there from iPhones but they don't have any blatant iPhone clones. Design language of the Redmi Note 4x, Redmi 4 and Mi5s Pro can be tracked down to HTC One Max. The Mix is much more refined version of Sharp Aquos Crystal. Mi Note 2 obviously influenced from Samsung Edge design.

I always wanted 7Plus with android inside, so, it's OK with me. We all know, it's a copy, we can only hope, it's a good copy. I didn't like the OP3 either, it reminded me too much of HTCs, and after 1 year from release, by far the most enjoyable handset, despite the terrible battery life.

Super upset that it's a direct ripp off, however iPhone 7 clones sell really well, so understandable but still a betrayral. Anyway in a way its good, now when some fandroid starts acting like Apple is some kind of plauge and it's users are of reduced intellect, and that Android users are from some superior race, we can just throw the massive success One Plus 5 is going to become in their face. The reality of the situation with Android is, far more people want the iPhone but can't afford it so they settle for an Android. Give them a quality iPhone clone that's cheaper and it sells like hot cakes to the Android crowd thereby nullifying the "superior race" thing. Either way at least one plus will have success, perhaps next year they return to some original design.

I've have every OP phone they ever put out....and OP has never been worried about copying trends. Heck Apple does it all the time when they come out with features years after they are available on Android. And folks that buy OP's could care less cuz you couldn't give me the WAY overpriced iPhone and the OS that is made for luddite's.

@Alan.F: He is not a man. He is superstar of the India. Amithab Bachan is his name. It is not the car trunk, it is a briefcase. And the ad is posted on oneplus channel too. Please have look at it. Please do some homework before you write something. I am not nit-picking, I have seen many of your post where you post similarly without checking the facts and without complete knowledge. Please do some research, because you are mis-leading your viewers. Hope you take it as a suggestion and change the way you write an article.
