'Captured on Galaxy S7' is Samsung's answer to the 'Shot on iPhone' campaign
Not to be outdone by Apple's "Shot on iPhone" campaign, Samsung has released its own "Captured on Galaxy S7 and S7 edge" video that demonstrates the 4K recording prowess of the two high-end smartphones. The handsets are the first to sport the Dual Pixel technology that stuffs focusing options previously reserved for DSLR cams in a tiny phone package.

Video is the natural habitat for demonstrating the instant focusing feature, as it seamlessly switches from front to back and vice versa, with no noticeable adjustment, which is otherwise present in even the fastest continuous autofocus solution on other phones. That is why Samsung is boasting the recording prowess of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, which have created the stellar footage in the video below. Do you like what you see?

Can these OEM STOP copying each other and start coming up with original ideas.. NOTHING apple or google have done in the past few years have been original.. its either been complete rip offs or minor improvements..

True, everyone copies nowadays, and when somebody makes something new, people hastily shout "GIMMICK!"

and yet slowly copy that gimmick a year later or two.. congratulations it's a paradox!

They have to copy every move Apple made otherwise they will lose their identity as the company which build their entire smartphone business by shamelessly copying iPhone's design and software.

Nice tease Kumar123. Unfortunately, I agree. So many innovative ways, yet Samesung still follows every Apple move. Pathetic.

Sure, that's why iPad got split screen before Samsung phones. You just plain stupid to say every move. Both took inspiration from each other (as source code is not public, technically it's not copying).

So adverting and marketing is now copying too? Wonder where Apple got its Mac vs PC campaigns? if a company makes a good marketing move, or one perceived to be you have to do it. Apple copies everything, yet I've never seen you post anything when Apple copies. OH THE IRONY!!!!

About design, Thank god samsung doesn't copy it and makes a phone with such large bezels. About software, in your whole life have you ever written a single program/code/software?

Really? Apple NEVER copies Google right? Shall I name ALL the ways Apple has copied Google and the other OEMs through the years? We may be here awhile........

So Apple shows off ACTUAL customer's videos, Samsung had to stage the scenes and use professionals to show off theirs? A bit pathetic especially when they're actually trying to "one-up" Apples idea...

Probably because of the jello image stabilization you'd get on a non stabilised tripod.

Wow, that's funny because I never get that "jello" effect on my Galaxy S7 Edge......

Either way, they are shot with the phone. I don't know if Samsung has a way for consumers to upload photos or pictures shot with the Galaxy. But there are plenty on YouTube.

It's amazing by S7, but my discrete adapter GF210 can't perform smoothly in 4K, i swithed to FHD - that's anti amazing from my PC )))
