Capital One has released an official app for Android, joining the ranks of other financial institutions like Bank of America, ING and American Express with Android apps available. And, like those other options, Capital One is trying to take the entire banking experience and make it mobile.
The feature list for the Capital One Mobile Banking smartphone app (as Capital One likes to call it) is about what you'd expect from a mobile banking app. With it you can:
Pay bills
Transfer money
Check balances
Find ATMs and branches
View Rewards info
View recent transactions
Contact customer service
The app is free and supports Android phones running 1.6+, but unfortunately doesn't support Honeycomb tablets just yet.
