Can iOS 7 induce motion sickness?

0. phoneArena posted on 26 Sep 2013, 17:31

Can iOS 7 bring on motion sickness? Some users trying out the new parallax and zoom features are getting sick to their stomach, experiencing vertigo, headaches and nausea; some are comparing it to getting car sick. The experience has been making some iPhone owners so ill, that they have resorted to downgrading back to iOS 6...

The first second I started using iOS 7 I made a comment saying how sick all the animations of the software makes me. I wish there was a way to shut it off just like on Android plus the performance of my 5S would increase as well.

Maybe a reversal of these white back ground screens might happen, I cant stand them.
Both apple and Google are going this route, or gave gone in apple's case, and I think it sucks for night viewing, which is more common in dark winter months.

Another thought, didn't we just read about how rolling back the os was being blocked?

Is that not a bit extreme by users to avoid the parallax effect?
Flock mentality of non tech savvy perhaps?
Good thing there's an electric fence after all.

Haven't seen it in person yet but the vids I've seen of it do mess with your vision some. Only questions I have about are how is battery life with it on and is this something you could simply get used to over time?

I really don't understand how this could be happening.
Have they ever gone out for a 3D movie? What happens to them? Did they faint there? Did they puke?
I mean, how big is an iPhone that your entire head loses it's senses into it?
I have had head spins while playing computer games, but that is because i'm looking at a 15-20 inch screen. This is just too funny...

You don't seem to be able to understand that the feature on the iPhone is not anything like the technology for 3d movies.

You are just too funny.....

Unfortunately, more than 10 million peeps will purchase the next iphone in the first sales weekend.
Obviously the mind-messing gadgets win.

I LOLed so hard when I read this! I mean I can understand people are sensitive. I don't blame them. but it's just SAD how they're stuck w/ it ( you can turn off parralax, but you can't turn off or even speed up the animations). A classical example how Apple wants to lock us down, even in exchange for people's health.

Too bad this is happening!
I believe apple will issue an update to reset and fix this problem if iphone users can make a little more loud complaint concerning this.
Funny reading all those laugh-worthy comments above.
Sounds a bit ironic to associate iphone with lag, but it is actually the present reality with ios 7.
