They seem to love big screens, the second generation Moto G will be a great hit (maybe they can bring down the price even more to compete with the Asian handsets!).

If Lenovo doesn't change anything about Motorola's great products and customer service, then I think they can really be successful...

Ya, Still pissed over the last 3 Moto phones I have owned or bought for family that got LESS THAN A YEAR of updates then where dropped... I currently use my Photon Q as my backup phone as well as my drive recorder (car stats/video of driving), and it got EIGHT as in 8, months worth of updates (from release day), then NADA... there was a few minor revisions done and a major release all done WITHIN the 18months... Piss off Motorola, even if Lenovo owns you now I WILL NOT be buying one!

Things change, you need to learn this. If you are so keen on updating then get an iphone. If my phone stops being updated I can just change to cyanogenmod or any other custom rom.

No matter what happens samsung and Apple will remain on top. Apart from their products price, their name is a brand that is marketable anywhere in the world and that is why majority will continue to buy their products. I cant see myself using xiomi or gionee phone even if they have 100mp camera and sell below $100. So, the advantage they have is the population of china and their poeple buy 80% of their products and they sell very few in europe and America. Their market is Asia, africa and middle east where poverty is high. Imaging serena williams, wayne rooney or messi using xiomi phone or ZTE.

If Kobe Bryant can use Lenovo, then why not.

Yes but only if Lenovo do what Motorola never did stop being America centric, launch more phones outside America & quicker.

I am pretty sure they may come up with something impressive in the near near future .... Just like when people first realised the beginning of Samsung rise, they will do with the lenovo-moto team.. Good luck moto :)

Man I think any company is capable of anything. In my opinion apples days are numbered. I just don't see anymore innovation; their pockets are lined but people will eventually start seeing that other companies are more then capable of providing comprable solutions if not better are far less a price. I suspect with in 10 years

with crazy sexy design like Vibe X, Vibe X2, Vibe Z and Vibe Z2, and price tags similar to Huawei, i foresee Lenovo will come very close to the top players. Samsung will be going down, sooner or later, if they are still selling everything at high price. meanwhile, Motorola is as good as dead in my country, fingers crossed.

Manufacturers don't need to make so many phones each year. I think the company that can manage to make a flagship phone with top specs, a phablet for those who want really big phones, make your last years model your mid-range phone will succeed. Also they need to be able to make the flagship look different from year to year instead of the same looking design as seems to be the case with most manufacturers.

Unless Lenovo forces them to stop making super thick bricks Motorola is going nowhere. And if they do start making thin and sexy phones, that would completely change Motorola's philisophy and identity. I don't really see the synergy here.

The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro and the Google Nexus 6. 2 phablet beasts. Now coming from one company. Apple and Samsung are in for a rude awakening
