That's what I said. I also said it wouldn't pan out as a full-on Android device. You have a problem understanding what I typed up?

No i just wanted to remind you that the author did in fact state it was a rumor in the title.

He has now started arguing for no reason...I have seen people who don't read the article before commenting but this guy replies even before reading the comment completely... It's really stupid.

He ALWAYS does this. He lives to troll others and argue on the Internet, with absolutely no basis for his arguments whatsoever. He's one of the biggest trolls here on phonearena.

Stop getting so defensive because I choose BlackBerry. We know worshiping at the alter of Apple is all that matters in your sad existence. I can do that too.

BlackBerry going full Android or even "skinned" Android would cost them some of their biggest clients, which are governments and military. There isn't ANY form of Android that has the certs necessary (or any other OS, for that matter) to function deep within these uber secure industries like BB10 has. No OS has that many certs accept BB10 and BBOS7.x. It wouldn't make sense for BlackBerry to do two separate devices running two different OS's, as it's not cost effective for them at this time. This reminds me of when rumors were swirling about that BlackBerry was being purchased a few months back, only for it to be that BlackBerry had actually done the purchasing and acquired Secusmart.

I hope this is not true. I love the unique BlackBerry with its own amazing BB10

Agreed, John. If anything, it should just be BB10 with Google Mobile Services.

No problem with experimenting. It's It's not like they have anything lose. Well besides market share and relevance. They have to take a risk.

Don't get me wrong, I love Android, and I love BlackBerry too, however I want BlackBerry to remain it's own uniqueness instead of jumping into Android bandwagon. My opinion always stay firm, Android is not the answer to everything, it might be a answer to some company, but I believe it is not the answer for BlackBerry. BlackBerry 10 is a beautiful OS, same goes with iOS, Android and Windows Phone, which had uniqueness of their own.

They can make an Android phone that looks and runs exactly like their own OS, just like all the other manufacturers' skins and forked versions.

BlackBerry with full touch screen, sleek design, great camera, great battery and mid-high specs running BB10 is what I want!

I can already see this as being a good phone if they have flagship specs and stock android with a blackberry skin, bb hub swiping in from the left of the home screen, and blackberry app switching.

There is a strange bovine wiff pervading this thread. The Android rumour was created by those looking to short BlackBerry stock and is now the holy grail of low IQ trolls.

NEW CEO, seriously BB management are so damn lazy. Anyways. I wouldn't buy it, I have a bb and I use its primarily for messaging and email, lots of text based things, on BB OS and not 10,but OS7, esp BIS cheap data packages. My Android I use for everything else. But am really over Blackberry right now.

BlackBerry management is lazy? You're kidding, right? John Chen and Co. have worked their collective asses off to get BlackBerry in a better position than it was in a year ago. And if you were actually using BB10 instead of BBOS7, you wouldn't be "over it", you'd still be using it.

I'd definitely buy that Oslo with Android on board. There are still a few who prefer the BB form factor but want the convenience of what Android offers.

Exactly. I would never consider a Blackberry phone at the moment but if this rumor were to become true I would definitely make it one of my options for my next phone. I just hope they have flagship specs on the phone if it's for real.

If BlackBerry makes a Android devices they are still going to go broke cause Android can't save any company cause of all those Samsung Sheep and no matter how much someone says they'll buy a device once it becomes Android is a lie, a big fat lie and I've seen OEMs close not to long after going to Android cause Sheep want what they want and it's not BlackBerry running Android. Just cause it's said doesn't mean they'll buy.

I agree with you, to a degree. How many Android fans that are saying this will be good for BlackBerry will ACTUALLY go and buy one? As the numbers prove, MOST Android fans buy Samsung devices, no matter what the other OEM's are putting out.
