0. phoneArena posted on 19 Feb 2013, 00:37

The number of BlackBerry users who would buy another BlackBerry in the next 6 months has risen sharply from 18% in the second quarter of 2012 to a current reading of 43% in the first quarter of 2013; at the same time, YouGov's BrandIndex score shows that BlackBerry is beginning to catch a buzz in the U.S.although Apple and Samsung remain at the top...

Um, Bill Gates stated earlier works were a mistake but not even the systems themselves.

Also, good for BB. I'm willing to check out their new devices as long as they keep them updated unlike previous renditions.

Many people started loosing the interest in Blackberry, especially in the US.
HTC One, Sony Xperia Z, Galaxy SIV, and the legendary Lumia series are coming to shoot the mercy bullet on Blackberry.

Just Rest In Peace BB... I'm seeing the shodow of Palm following you.

Expect RIM has no dept and an established user base world wide, Palm had neither...

Ive yet to see anyone on the streets pull out a BB in almost a year. I think they could have done a little better spec wise with quad core and 1080p resolution becoming the new high end, BB just seems like a lower-mid to mid range device. Get with the times everyone wants faster better looking phones. I havent heard anything ground breaking with the UI of the BB in the media or on the net.

buzz means nothing....its the people that actually pay for it that mean something....last i checked looking at something doesnt increase its value and with several major corporate accounts already switched over to cr@pple and so many other good smartphone choices out there its safe to say that moldy berry waited to long to change and missed the train....

"Meanwhile, among consumers likely to buy a new handset in the next 6 months, 18% of BlackBerry owners said they would buy another 'Berry back in the second quarter of 2012. That figure is now 43% for Q1 of 2013. During that same time period, those Apple iPhone owners who said they would stick to iOS slipped from 92% to 85% while the numbers for the Samsung Galaxy line rose from 46% to 53%."

Well...thats accurate for at least one current BB owner I know. Current and former BB owners are really interested in it. If I was a BB owne,...it would be accurate for me too. Interesting the results of the iPhone and Galaxy.

I really like some of the comments on this board such as RIP blackberry. The platform just needs to die already. I am proud to say my company no longer supports this platform. What garbage it really is!

And comments like yours amaze me! Why would you want ANY competition to die? Competition is always good for the consumer. The more the better.

It's nice that you choose not to use a BB device, but some people, me included, love them and wouldn't use anything else. I've tried them, they don't handle communications anywhere near as well as BlackBerry. All the senseless hate really needs to stop. It's childish and make you look ignorant...

After BlackBerry dominates once again, you can tell people why they suck OK, in the meantime read the article.
