BlackBerry makes Samsung Galaxy smartphones even more secure with new SecuSUITE features

Samsung and BlackBerry have teamed up to improved the security of Galaxy smartphones a long time ago. Today, both companies announced their partnership is going deeper with the addition of SecuVOICE in Samsung Knox.

Usually, Samsung Knox comes with some BlackBerry security feature grouped together under the SecuSUITE name. This pack of security features is compatible with Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 edge, Galaxy S8/S8+, and Galaxy Note 8 smartphones, as well as Galaxy Tab S2 (8-inch and 10-inch) and Tab S3 tablets.

The addition of SecuVOICE will allow Samsung users to make secure phone calls. Another new feature included in SecuSUITE is BlackBerry Unified Endpoint Management (UEM). The latter is supposed to provide Samsung users with a complete unified endpoint management and policy control for a wide range of devices and apps.

On a side note, SecuVOICE is the same security system used by the German Federal Administration to secure its telephone calls for many years, so it looks like Samsung made a good decision including it in Knox.

Keep in mind that BlackBerry UEM and SecuVOICE aren't available as individual security features, as they are part of SecuSUITE for Samsung Knox.
