BlackBerry launches 7130g in Europe

The 7130g and the 7130c received the FCC approval a month ago. Although they have the 7130 index and the same SureType keyboard, they are quad-band GSM phones and are different than the 7130e - an EV-DO device available with both Verizon and Sprint. BlackBerry launched the 7130g with O2 in Europe, but we expect it to come to the US with T-Mobile and the 7130c with Cingular later this year, as the FCC images showed the Cingular branding on the c-version. The EDGE-capable phone has 312MHz processor as the one used in the 8700, as well as the light-sensing LCD screen that adjusts the display's brightness.
