Although it’s still unconfirmed from Big Red on whether they’re actually going to get the all touch BlackBerry Torch 9850, it appears that regional carrier US Cellular has beaten them to the punch and follows after Sprint.
They announced today the that they’ll be adding the handset to their lineup starting on August 26th for the 2-year contract price of $199.99. Sure it’s $50 more than what Sprint is asking from their customers, but it’s the premium you’ll need to cough up in order to experience one of the next-generation BlackBerry smartphones.
Besides scrounging for cash over the course of the next few days, you can check out US Cellular’s web site in the meantime to sign up for email updates regarding the handset’s arrival. Knowing that it’s priced similarly to some other high-end smartphones, are you still considering choosing it over other comparable models?
