+1 Also, gotta give a hand to Oneplus 3 too, huge step forward considetring it's predecessor was "mediocre", same can be said to the HTC 10 too.

I never looked into the Oneplus line that much, but they're nice looking and powerful. HTC makes a great device, but they seem to be losing consumer interest.

It is mostly due to the bang for buck that OnePlus 3 offers although, the Display quality/accuracy, RAM management and the Battery backup were the major Bummers. People who have budget the to go all the way, will always go for either S6E or HTC 10.

The RAM management was apparently fixed in the just released update of Oxygen OS.

Because Phonearena is referring to Phones which are released in H1 2016 only not of H2 2015 as well. if they had to consider for full last year, then iPhone will at-least come 2nd here.

Half of the authors have chosen Chinese phones has proven quality of Chinese products despite hater gonna hate. None of Apple device on the list has shown Apple is nothing but a piece of paper tiger, roar on profit but meow on performance. Congrats to phonearena, and I'm proud to be hugobarracyanogenmod.

Best thing is that nobody likes the iPhone, love this day.

You need a life, if that's what makes you love this day.

I have it, though it appears that you need a life beyond the half eaten fruit, there is whole lot of it buddy! Come out of that cocoon and you'll see how beautiful the world is.

None of Apple device on the list has shown Apple is nothing but a piece of paper tiger. Hahaha First read the topic ,it says the phone in first half of the year 2016. The only SE fruit was launched, which was a s**t. Once the real fruit will be launched, this site will be full with their praises because they can give more $$ then your Chinese lords.

Listen is more common than you think, even the Chairman of Alphabet has one, so what is your point. MKHB is a big Android aficionado, but always has an iPhone with him, cause at the end, we know which platform is more reliable. I have several Android devices, but my iPhones 4, 5S, 6 work without a hitch, without having to do any reset, not once.

The Moto z is probably the best phone of all time imo. It is the most innovative and exciting phone since the original iphone. Imo, theres just nothing that beats it as a device tbh. Mkbhd said yesterday "the moto z maybe the sexiest phone i've ever held" and that says a lot from the usually conservative mkbhd. Still holding out for the iphone 7 pro though.

I don't really get the negativity and bashing in the comment section. The authors have made it clear that these are THEIR favorite phone, not the phone which they think is objectively the best. Personally the S7 series made me shed a little tear after buying the note5. However, the oneplus 3 definitely turns heads for giving so much for so little money.

This. Your comment should be the top comment. I found this to be really interesting.

Okay, multiple votes for the OnePlus 3 and S7/edge. Makes sense. But the fact that the HTC 10 has the same number of votes as the Nextbit Robin? Or the Mi 5? Wow... Two authors lost some serious credibility with those really dumb picks.

How does this make sense? They didn't say it was the BEST, they said it was their favorite one. Of course they would be tied, that's what happens when you only get one vote for those phones. That doesn't mean that they are equal.
