Tomorrow, HTC will introduce two new handsets. Conspicuous by its absence will be the HTC One A9, which is not expected to be introduced until next month. The two handsets to be unwrapped by the beleaguered manufacturer tomorrow are rumored to be a China-bound version of the HTC Butterfly 3, and the HTC One M9e. The latter is yet another variant of HTC's floundering flagship, this time with global aspirations...

With 2GB or Ram. That's a big no. I am not buying any android phone with less than 3GB of Ram. Even it it's being sold for $50.

Head of design department? Apparently they have zero intentions to get rid of that black bar with their logo and the same old soap design.

Nothing wrong with 2gb ram. I own a 2gb ram android with 6-10 background apps running and i don't have any problems with it.

Really? Obviously you haven't seen the old htc and meizu models. Google everything from their first flagship and tell me who's copying who.

i guess they already fired all designer guy, so they stuck with this design forever

It feels like they just re-branding the same old phone and making a very minor change, trying to fool people into thinking it is a brand new device, but in reality it is an old device that cannot sell. Next Up: HTC E9m

Why not? It works for Apple... :D

Apple provides a new chipset with better CPU and GPU, and improves either the camera or ram or gives it entirely new features like TouchID or 3D Touch and Siri.

This is hilarious....I'm beginning to think they're doing this on purpose to make next year's flagship (if they survive that long) look impressive

HTC's CEO is doing what that piece of s**t Elop did to NOKIA. Mistake after mistake just to make the company go down as fast as possible to be cheap to be bought by his love Microsoft and in HTC case some other company. I cant imagine anything else out of this retarded mistakes.

How is this better late than never? If anything isn't it early?

Because the pictures weren't included with the original TENAA certification last week. Alan F.

Ah that makes sense. I'm so used to the FCC releasing my 5-year-old niece's drawings of phones, and I didn't realize TENAA actually releases pictures of the real thing.

Screw you HTC bunch of hypocrites. Ever hardly listen to what the crowd have to say otherwise by now you would created another great flagship with decent camera and better screen. You just love strangling your self while watching in the the mirror. This is so fuccking sick what this company does to a point I wonder bunch of the management lives on this planet or they have they office up in the Mars . Yes Mars and the Spirit so the Opportunity brings you snack now and then. Do you suffer from hypoxemia and stuck in the box? Yes you are and it's all your fault but market to blame for that. Now I have to get my self an Iphone 6s which is the last thing I want to do. Amen

Seriously I am a fan of HTC but they have the most forgettable flagship of 2015. They need to continue with BoomSound speaker technology and get serious about the camera and they should be right back in the game.

It's sad walking into a T-Mobile store: Apple, LG, and Samsung all have their own lovely little display tables, and they have the M9 tucked away on the wall of misfit phones, right between an iPhone 5s and a Galaxy Note 3...

Exactly. It's like it released and I'm sure some people brought it but that was it. Like it vanished. Even the One M7 and M8 stayed relevant longer than the M9.

So basically same phone as M9,only with Mediatek and less ram, maybe worse camera. I dont get it, what purpose this phone have? It might be success when pricing will be around Moto X play, but they wont do that. GJ HTC,i think you fired all designers this year
