Google Pixel 2 | New | Best Buy | $349 |
Google Pixel 2 XL | New | Best Buy | $549 |
So, Google's
Pixel 3 is out and, whether or not you hate the notch on the XL variant, it's still a pretty cool phone. Snappy fast, cool camera, pure Android experience, super-smart Google Assistant, and timely updates to the next Android build as it gets released.
But you know what? The same can be said about last year's
Pixel 2 and
Pixel 2 XL! They have all the features the newer devices offer and doesn't start at $800. To top it off, they still have
2 years worth of Android updates, as per Google's promise on their release.
If you go through Best Buy and buy either a Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL on a 24-month Verizon payment plan, you will pay $14.58 per month for the small model or $22.91 monthly for the XL variant. Or, in total, this makes the Pixel 2's price $350 and the Pixel 2 XL's price $550.
That's midrange pricing, especially for the small version of the phone. And, if you don't mind a 16:9 screen, instead of a trendy super-tall display, we dare say that it's a lot of bang for your buck! And $550 for the Pixel 2 XL is definitely not a bad offer. Sure, the design is nothing to gush over, but at least there's no controversial notch to worry about.
