i've been waiting for years for a decent windows slate to come out, and it looks like they are now starting to hit the market.

Can't say I'll ever buy an Android or Ipad based pad just because I really want to be able to run my desktop applications on a tablet. Android and Ipads and just expensive browsing machines with crappier games and applications than I can get on my desktop - why would I want to carry crappier versions of my desktop applications and games around with me?

Android and Ios can fight all they want about how many applications they have but Windows ultimately is king.

As for Ipad copycats, have to disagree - Ipad was always just a cheap pad option (and slate copy) until we can get our desktop applications and games to run on a pad i.e. Windows or Mac.
