Asus ZenFone 6 finally goes up for US pre-orders at an unrivaled price
Asus made serious waves when announcing the ZenFone 6 nearly three months ago, equipping this latest flagship model with a state-of-the-art Snapdragon 855 SoC and an inventive motorized dual camera module that can rotate to capture beautiful selfies sans taking up precious screen real estate.

Of course, the main selling point was a price tag set at an incredibly reasonable €499 on the old continent, but alas, Asus largely missed its window to capitalize on the buzz generated back in May with a timely US launch. Then again, it's probably never too late for such a well-reviewed handset to expand to one of the world's largest markets, especially when it does so at a $500 starting price.

That's right, a dual SIM ZenFone 6 configuration with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage space can be pre-ordered today in exchange for only $499.99 from B&H Photo Video, while a 128 gig variant packing the same amount of memory is available at $549.99. Unfortunately, the retailer has no shipment date to share with early adopters of this beautiful "ordinary-defying" device, merely promising to fill your orders on a first-come-first-served basis.

No other US retailer appears to be accepting pre-orders at the moment and there's no mention on the manufacturer's official US website of a release date either, so all you can do right now is hope that B&H will somehow be able to start delivering the Asus ZenFone 6 before long.

Compatible with GSM networks like AT&T and T-Mobile, the 6.4-incher is available in "midnight black" and "twilight silver" hues, packing a massive 5,000mAh battery in addition to the aforementioned top-notch chipset, as well as a high-res 48MP main camera and ultrawide 13MP secondary shooter. At only $499.99, this bad boy certainly comes with an impressive spec sheet, also including dual stereo speakers, dual smart amplifiers, a reliable rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a headphone jack, microSD card slot, and a nifty customizable Smart Key.
