Asus Transformer will get ICS update soon after Prime

Asus Transformer will get ICS update soon after Prime
We have assumed all along that the original Asus Eee Pad Transformer would be getting the upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but we hadn't had any actual confirmation, but now we do. Asus put the news on its UK Facebook page.

The Facebook page now clearly says that the OG Transformer is "4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgradeable", which is just about the best confirmation we could hope for. There is no word on exactly when the upgrade will come, but Asus has promised that it would be released "ASAP" after the ICS update comes for the Transformer Prime, which is due this coming Thursday, January 12th.
