I'm not saying "your" Apple fan, but for people to say that any android phone they have doesn't lag is like saying iPhone 6plus doesnt bend, is like saying all iPhones explode. So far (since January), I've never experienced lags on my Nexus 5.

@aba71983 you insulted Samsung GALAXY Note 4 before and complained that Android lags. I thought you're on Apple's side. Guess who have change their mind. You're a hypocrite. YOU'RE A LIAR. :P

It won't lag if you don't install a bunch of crapware and disable all the bloat from verizon.

You must either have a crappy phone unit or you don't take the right steps for setting up your phone. My S5 doesn't lag at all. iBend 6 with its instability of its software is becoming worse and worse, like old Android stereotypes.

The IPhone 6's are beautiful but the guys at Apple looked like idiots this week. If they wanted people to upgrade to the 6, why release the IOS 8 to the earlier models now? They could have waited a month until things calmed down a bit, and more people decided to upgrade to the newer phone and operating system. And wasn't Apple expecting to support millions of new phones and their owners? why add millions more potential software problems to the mix? Why weren't the brand new phones already loaded with working/tested software? Updates that render the dialer useless on your phones during the launch week is unacceptable in any self-respecting company. The "bending" phones is probably just the work of haters but the software issues are a sign of quality control issues. I remember hearing about a new Apple maps app that was supposed to replace Google Maps, which simply didn't all. I remember an IPhone that lost reception if you held it in your hand. How can Apple be caught so unprepared at the release of the only phone they produce this year? I struggled this week when deciding if I should return my new Galaxy S5 and get the new IPhone. I wanted it, but I decided that Apple is simply too risky, and overrated. I kept coming back to the same conclusion; the Galaxy was the more reliable and better phone.

One mobile launch a year and they butcher it lol. I love it.

That "one launch a year" is bigger than the launches of any Android OEM's launches for a year. When you are at the top of the heap, people actually notice issues. When you are fighting for the table scraps, nobody cares.

Lol lol lol your funny and clearly a Ifan. Because last I checked when I looked at the world market share android controls 83% to Apple's less then 20% world market share....not to mention the LG g3 the note 4 and the HTC one m8 ducking destroy the iphone 6 in almost all categories. You can't beat the 3d 1080p camera action of the m8 the 16MP 4k recording and pictures of the note 4 the battery life almost double that of the New iphone and not to mention who gives two shifts about your finger print scanner nobody cares about that to have a phone that can't connect to WiFi is a huge no no for most people. And to have a phone that was thought to come out with. Better camera and glass and receive.... Disappointment is pretty much. Saying screw the fans we want 1000$ for a big phone well I can't get a LG g3 full price 600 $ man no tricking brainer lol

Apple might have 20% world market share, they do have 75% of all the profits. The iPhone 6 beats the competition in most benchmarks, the camera gets the highest score on camera test sites. I'm an Android fan, but the butthurt is big in you. Give it a rest and just enjoy your own phone, like I do.

Apple fans are sorry a$$ zombies , always boasting about apples profit. They collected your money and gave you a crap, and you $heeps are happy with that, ifans are modern society fools

Which part of I'm an Android fan did you miss? Android fans always boast about market share, like that makes the phone you use even better. Apple makes more expensive phones, Google gets more data out of you. It's a choice. Personally I don't give a rats ass what Google knows about me, although I do limit in what they are getting from me.

That about sums it up. Pick your poison basically.

Apple only gets 75% of the profits due to its highly inflated prices. Is there something about that you don't understand? And for an Android fan, you sure are doing a lot of defending for Apple. Could've fooled me.

86. RebelwithoutaClue unregistered

There are many occassions I defend Android. I will always prefer Android over iOS. I just don't like bullsh!t. But being reasonably unbiased is hard on this site. I do think Apple f@cked it up this year, minor bugs aside, Update 8.01 which disabled cell signal and TouchID was too big of a bug to oversee. Also I do think they should drop the "it just works", since clearly the last two years with all the bugs in iOS 7&8, they are just like any other company who make mistakes.

Still. GoBears has a point. No matter how big the iPhone launches be. You would think with such a narrow focus every iPhone launch would be perfect or better than this.

Meh, I'm experiencing a few "glitches". I'll go to open an app & it'll close. I'll go to open settings & it'll jump back to the home screen, little things like that. Idk, weird.

1. Major system crash the following day after installing 8.0.2. Tried to connect to bluetooth but would not connect. Went into settings and the entire page was blank. Hit the home botton and tried to launch a app on the home screen but it would not launch. Phone became super unresponsive. Hit the power button to turn off phone, screen went dark but would not turn back on. At this stage I spent 5 minutes trying to turn device back on. Only solution was to hold down the home button plus power and I finally got the Apple logo. 2. Disappearing keyboard in spot light. The update did not fix this issue. 3. Bunch of Siri bugs. It will act like it's listening but then a minute later you see various words pop up on top of the display. 4. Various apps not working correctly. At this stage it's a crapshoot. Either they work being optimized (rare), work not optimized, crash, graphic issues or become unresponsive. 5. A few mini-reboots I will be returing this piece of $hit for either a Note 4 or a Moto X 2014. I wanted a smaller powerful phone running stock software on Verizon (coming from a Note 3) and what I got was the crappiest expierence I've seen in the last 3 years. I use to see this type of garbage back in my Droid X days. I don't see how a real user does not notice these issues. And Apple officially has fragmentation. I can't make heads or tails which apps truly works with iOS 8 or with iPhone 6.
