That is not a great product my friend... thats a great cheating!! If you are a great company and you want to make a great product ... put all your technology in a phone that is no need an update for the next 10 years !! Yeah , i know , that is against of the financial incentives of the company... soo , please cut this bullsh╬╣ts about a great products...

Remember "value is the perception of the persons needs of a product" and not by how much horsepower and features it has.

So...features and horsepower don't really matter. You should try used car sales.

He's right though. They don't try to make money to become rich. They try to make money to fund their iLawsuits.

It's sad to see people of such status giving false statement. I agree that apple make great looking device (not essentially great device) but they don't care much about money sounds so hollow.

Absolutely ridiculous either he is completely oblivious to Apple's actual plans or he is lying though is teeth. We all can recall a time when dear old apple's "innovation" was completely useless and almost had the company going bankrupt. They have constant legal battles to try and stiffle the "innovation" that he is claiming to be their main objective. They want to have the only phone, laptop and music player on the market so they can have a monopoly and charge exorbitant amounts for their products like they do in many parts of the world already. They use doctored photos, patents that have nothing to do with each other and crooked lawyers to win their court cases yet he says their objective isn't to make money?? What an absolute and odious lie.

They don't care about money, yet Steve Jobs implemented a policy of not giving a single penny to charity, that continued well past the point when they became the company in the world. It took a shareholder uprising to get them to issue a dividend. And they don't want to pay the rate others do for standard patents that their product wouldn't work without, wanting to pay a half a cent for those, but demanding $14 for shapes, colors and grids.

Nope, they don't care about money at all.

In the case of Ive and his team, Im sure they are more focused on making great products than great profits. However, Apple as a whole is focused on the profits. They are a corporation, they have no obligation or goal other than to make its shareholders and executives a lot of money.

I wonder if he honestly believes what he says. Whatever people say Apple may have a high appreciation for there customers but like any company in the history of the world care about making money or being profitable. I like Apple's designs and Ive (among others) does great work but Apple is just as money oriented as other companies.

This is why I love Apple. They make products that they're passionate about and care about making something their customers will love.

They got the huge revenue due to their high quality products not like the others who made their devices of cheap junk plastic and even the IOS has no issues as the others have...

What's there in profits...we just get over 70% profit in each iphone sold...leave aside the ipad, macbooks aka natbooks...ipods and other iproducts....and while doing this customer satisfication service...we earn great profits...
while we take time offfrom innovation..we patent anything[#google glasses] that we see is going to get some traction in the future...

later we look at the other 'rectangular","iphone wannabe" models being brought up in the market and we sue them...our afternoon recreation playcentre..courts..

Oh sure Apple's not into making money, then why is their cash reserves in foreign banks? Why are they strong arming stores and starting all these patent wars to try and create a monopoly in the mobile market?

How funny is this. As soon as they feel Samsung and overall Android phones will officially beat them this year, they suddenly say that they want to make better products, and not make more money. Well why weren't they doing that for the past 3 years?
