"never lags" in his context is "I use it for Facebook and Instagram and it doesn't lag"

My iPhone 6 lags all the dam time. Plus the keyboard takes forever to load!!! I hate dumb ass comments like yours. It's like when I ask my friends why they got an iPhone. "Because it's an iPhone".

The keyboard takes forever to load? WTF are you talking about, did you buy your "iPhone 6" for $20 from some guy with a street stall by chance? As if you even own one... The keyboard on my iPhone 6 running iOS 9.2.1 comes up instantly, as it always has.

My guess is that he's referring to the amazing "new" support of 3rd party keyboards in iOS. Which has a truck load of complains about slow loading, even on the latest phones.

But whatever, the fight is still on between Android and Apple OS and now there will be more to fight about.

who cares about benchmarks, I phones are plain and simple boring just good enough for people that are happy with that what it does without customizing it, for conservative people that care more about how many units apple sells.

I think Android users care a LOT about benchmarks... Whenever they're ahead in them. The hypocrisy on this site is amazing.

Yes android offer customization but with the cost of performance

yes that's a silly comparison, that is why I phones have that score on benchmarks because you can customize it, but I rather customize it and still have performance to spare never had an issue with my note 5.

Smoothness of iOS comes with the lack of flexibility and features and thats a deal breaker for me. And Android has been performing great for years, even Samsung's touchwiz have been performing good in recent years.

I was waiting for this to come to PA... This is gonna be interesting. Cue the "iOS just displays apps and does nothing else", "Note 5 pushes more pixels", and so on...but arent these tests run the same tasks graphically and intensity for all devices equally? It's not like they test multitasking and split screen on Note 5, but only display icons on 6s during the test... Anyways... a score is a score.. enjoy...

No they don't. I just ran it on an S5 Plus and Note 4, both featuring the same SD 805, with a hair higher tested clockspeeds in the Note 4. The S5 Plus demolished the Note 4 in Antutu 6.0.1. Why? Because the Note 4 ran at 1440p and the S5 Plus at 1080p, resulting in a huge difference in the GPU scores. If I set de Note 4 to 1080p, scores are very close.

Run an offscreen test where pixels don't effect it. The iPhone is still on top.

For GPU benchmarks yes, because it currently has the fastest GPU, but: 1) this wasn't about just GPU tests, but rather overall tests (such as Antutu) 2) we don't know how it compares to the new SD820 and Exynos 8 in this regard

whatever.. exynos 8890, SD820, helio X20, will crush that number really soon.. btw, iPhone is nowhere to be found in (in Highest Mobile Ranking) and its obvious that iPhone score is bloated on Antutu 6.0, compare it to antutu before that

17. AlikMalix unregistered

That's because with the old Antutu tests, all android (except the Nexus, I think) but all android manufacturers cheated - Read Antutu's source link! Version 6 was designed to block these manufacturers from cheating... (not my words - read antutu's statement)

Lol, how selective. At least we know of one that will beat the iPhone 6s plus pretty soon. Phonearena please forget to write an article about that when it happens (phonearena is pretty much useless now).
