Apple tells New York court that the FBI doesn't need its help to unlock an iPhone

Apple didn't mince words in a document it filed for a federal court case in New York. Talking about the government's request that Apple unlock an Apple iPhone 5s in a case involving a drug dealer, Apple tells the court that since the FBI has already unlocked Syed Farook's iPhone 5c without Apple's help, "The government has utterly failed to satisfy its burden to demonstrate that Apple’s assistance in this case is necessary."...

Both have pretty terrible battery life. How about something like the note 4?

It's for my Mum Her priorities : Battery Screen Camera Call Quality Strong She's FINALLY Decided to get a nice phone after a history of Budget GALAXY'S (Ace 3, Core Prime)

If battery is a concern, please don't buy her a 2015 flagship. They are all terrible, except maybe the 6s plus.

I was considering Note 4 but it's getting old and less updates and where I live (NZ) it's about $100nzd more than Moto X & G4

How about nexus 5X or 6P. Both are better than G4 or moto X. About the updates, it doesn't matter that much since your mom won't be a power user. And $100 NZ is just 69USD. So not much especially if you consider the excellent screen, processor and battery of note 4. The battery is really horrendous on both G4 or moto. But if forced, I would go for moto due to better screen and software.

if you didnt mind chinese brand, what about xiaomi redmi note 3, it have SD650, 5.5inch 1080p, and 4000mAh battery.. and if she didnt really mind about performance, just get Moto X Play, it have 5.5inch 1080p, around 3500mAh battery, 21MP camera, and still cheaper than X Pure

Rule #1: Never ever buy budget Samsung Galaxy phones, they're freaking terrible. Buy her a Note 4, I'm sure she will love it as it's big enough for her, it has a S-pen so she can use it to write notes and reminders, great display and cameras, fast charging, removable battery, and great call quality as well. and yes it's also strong. Though I'm doubtful if it'll receive more updates after Marshmallow (I hope your mom doesn't bother updates)

All the reviews say it stuttered here and there which would drive her nuts if she was to (FINALLY) buy a smarter smartphone !!!

The advanatages of the Moto X: 1. It has a larger display 2. It has dual front facing speakers. My relative owns a G4 and while the speakers are quite loud, they don't sound particularly good and they are really easy to cover up. 3. The performance is noticeably smoother. The G4 is by no means slow, but it does stutter occasionally. 4. Better battery life. 5. Metal sides 6. Better software (in my opinion). I had a G3 and LGs UI was definitely the worst part about that phone. Advantages of the G4: 1. Better camera 2. Smaller dimensions 3. Nicer display (in my opinion) 4. Leather back I personally would choose the Moto X, as I like phones with large displays, front facing speakers and I prefer Moto's skin.

Get a nexus 6p it's $50 off. So 64gb is $500. Battery= 3450mah Screen= samsung amoled Camera= is the same or sometimes can outdo the 2016 flagships like Galaxy s7 edge, LG G5 Call Quality= great and has front facing speakers Strong= yes has a metal body I believe. Just get a good case. Other= has rear finger scanner and gets newest android updates ASAP before LG, Samsung, sony, HTC, etc.... Nexus 6p>lg g4 or moto pure x
