Apple shares the most epic shot-on-iPhone video so far

Our smartphones are capable of capturing incredible video, but you cannot really appreciate the power of a phone camera until you see what the pros can do with it.

And that's exactly what Apple has set out to show in this extremely impressive new shot-on-iPhone video called "Don't mess with Mother" and dedicated to the power of nature.

From exotic animals to beautiful time-lapses to brilliant editing, all of this comes together as the most epic shot-on-iPhone video that we have seen and a brilliant advertisement for the capabilities of the iPhone camera.

And of course, it clearly took a huge amount of time to film and edit this, so this is not a video made to just show the technical capabilities of the iPhone camera. It's made to inspire and it sure as hell succeeds in that.

Well done. Can get it anywhere on any flagship (even better in some aspects) but marketing that into reality is key.

Hey Victor, did you have your apple squash fix this morning? You seem to be so agitated.

Classic Apple advertising. They're really good at it for sure. Almost got me to buy an iPhone a few times in my life. Good stuff Apple.

Besides the great cinematography of the video, it just proves that Earth is the most bizarre planet in the universe till now. Just... Think about it for one minute, the number of bizarre things, natural power and violence that mother nature have is... At minimum, astonishing

"Additional hardware and software used." at 52 second mark. It's a shame that these companies (all companies) have to clarify that this isn't just raw footage from a stock phone. Get a shot like the ones you just watched with only the $700-$1000 phones we buy and even if it doesn't look as nice, it'd still be a much better showcase in my opinion.

This is nothing special, I've seen nature documentaries like this for decades. This could have honestly been shot with almost any other camera so well.
