And the consequences of this ego is front of you.

Apple can't lead in the market now without a good leader. And for Sammy it is a golden opportunity which they are not loosing. Ex: S3 and Note 2

Ive is grabbing for power, IMO. There's been tension between the hardware side and the software side. Steve knew both sides had to work together but since Tim took over, that harmony isn't there like it used to be. Explains a lot of the problems with the iPhone as well, the cohesion isn't there like it needs to be. Add in a Knight and you have a big ego.

Apple has been in delcine several times in the past, in the 80's in the 90's and the only thing that saved them in the earlys 21st century was the iPhone 5 but now we see that apple was going into another decline. hopefully they just belly up or remove themselves from the Cellphone industry!

Kind of reminds me of Star Wars when the Chancellor was carefully and patiently making his precision moves to become the Emperor Supreme.

Apple was all around Steve Jobs, its not easy to control such a huge company like Apple.....added to this Steve loved Apple, he never cared about his position, the only thing which mattered was Apple where as this bloody Cook wants his pride!!
Its really gonna be very difficult for Apple to find replacement for these guys especially Scott.....
Android 4.2,WP8 and other OSs will be out very soon and Apple has lost their ios head, I dont know what they r gonna do

IMO, two reasons obviously:
- maps fiasco evidenced that this Forstall wasn't doing a good enough job
- stalled UI that is receiving universal consensus of needing serious refresh

Those are two key weaknesses of Apple at the moment and they are taking actions.
Looks like with IOS 7 we could finally see big changes in the UI

I hope Apple doesn't fall. Competition is good and it only makes Google and its partners better.
