Apple always fools people, with the help of biased tech Journalists. You guys know, iPhone is not worth the price it's asking for! Still you are saying to stop seeing numbers???? Biased tech journalism at best! PS: Samsung S6's 1440p is way better than iPhone 6's 750p

The mistake the author and commentors in general are making is equating being able to see individual pixels vs being able to see increased sharpness. You absolutely can notice a difference between HD, FHD and QHD at these screen sizes at normal viewing distance. Of course, that's viewer dependent. The better your eyes, the more you can notice. There are folks with poor eyesight who might not notice the difference between HVGA and FHD. My wife is one, she's always on the SD channels the TV, and when I ask her why she's not watching the HD channel, she can't see the difference. It's night and day to me.

On a 60in tv, the difference is very much noticeable compared to just half an inch. What I do notice is brightness as a result of more pixels, however, in my experience no one knows, other than techies, that the Note 5s screen has this many pixels compared to the iPhone 6 this many pixels. Nor can they tell.

I hope it's obvious now that apple is doing its best to slow the growth of tech in the mobile industry!..imagine if 12mp camera wud have debuted in 2015 instead of 2010 if we had waited 4 apple!..now the brough d same old iphone6 nd gave us a new way to interact with it!....truth is I'm never using an iphone cuz if uve ever used a true android fragship from a major manufacturer u wud know these no going back!...galaxy s6 all d way

Lol, good article. I read these comments as if a yeti wrote them. I'm actually not even convinced that most of these people are trolls, I think they really are that misinformed. I'm tired of the same argument about specs, and I"m tired of people bashing a phone they haven't used extensively. I've been an avid Android user since their inception (see my phones in my profile, it speaks for itself.) I've used numerous Androids and I only used the iPhone 5 and 6. I used to bash Apple for the same reasons, for having inferior hardware/specs. Till I realized the results speak for themselves. The original Moto-X kind of took an Apple approach to the phone: Optimize the phone for its hardware. While everyone else was putting Snapdragon 800s/801s, Motorola went with the S4+. People were outraged. But I bought the phone, and it was one of the smoothest phones I've ever used. Compared to the heavily skinned Galaxy S4 there was no comparison between the two. People can't get behind the fact that Apple does this with their phones. They spend an absurd amount of time optimizing the phone so it works as fluid and smooth as possible, and even though the specs on the spec sheet are inferior they still manage to outperform. Like yes, the camera was 8 MP, but the pixels were also bigger than their competitions, and images still looked great and full of detail. Sure, the S6's/Note 5's camera were better...after the iPhone 6 came out. One phone's camera is always going to be better than the other's, it'll always be a back and forth affair between them. However, after using the S6 for a couple months and the iPhone 6 before it, I honestly think that the iPhone 6 was a better phone to USE than the Galaxy S6. The S6 still lags in other areas in terms of fluidity, smooth multitasking, etc whereas in other areas it won (I think it has a better camera, the quick charging was awesome, and the battery life was better as well.) Just tired from the idiotic comments I read on this site and others, but it's easily the worst here by far. If anything, I find it weird that a lot of these comparisons for iPhone vs. best Android phone omit the G4, a phone I think is a lot better than the S6 for many reasons.

The lumia 1020 camera is not FOUR times better as rightly stated but it's still much better whether you like it or not Victor remember best shots are at 5 and 8 megapixel the 808 well no contest it's still the one to beat along with 1020.

I agree. When you get into editing the 1020 raw files, that is when you notice the difference. When you capture the words on a sign a mile away when the other phone simply shows a white strip etc. The 720p screen does it no justice, its upon zoom in and raw files when the 1020 just shines and put others out to pasture. There will always be more detail in a 39MP file than a 16MP. Sharpness etc is different, but there will always be MORE detail.

If anyone is surprised at Apple ripping them off, they must be new to this world.

Ultimately a solid write up, but did anyone take a look at the features listed aside from the cam??? Author loses points for saying a new case is a feature of the phone (really digging there) let alone the fact that Rose Gold is now a option (that's a stretch but is a feature i suppose, not as criminal as the new cases and accessories "feature" mentioned above lol...) Also, after reading these comments for months and months, finally made an account. Hello everybody.

What about the Z5 premium? They purpously avoid it as it s the best overall phone out there!! Hurts doesn't it especially bobbybuster's and dereckjetter.

Allright, I will forget about the addition or lack of specs and use it only as a fashion statement. Happy?

And if an android device lacks expansion memory or QHD resolution you list it as a CON. Isn't that double moral? You can do better than that PA...

So you can bash an android based on battery capacity and resolution and send it to the 7.5 realm, but if we say that regarding the iPhone we are monsters who can not see beauty before brains? Ok, this article made me angry.. jejeje... Sorry for the rant...

Wouldnt more pixels allow you to zoom in more without losing quality? No photographer by any means unless we're talking snapchat so don't hate too hard if I'm wrong

As others have pointed out, PhoneArena's Apple bias makes comparison articles near useless. Here PA cherry picked (apple picked?) two specs which are, indeed, debatable. But ignored were unmet rumors of much more useful improvements: sapphire screen, a 6c smaller screen version, improved scree to bezel ratio, 32GB minimum memory, cheaper memory upgrades, 2GB RAM, expandable memory, and bigger battery. The last is most galling since the reality is a smaller battery. Note that some of these are already being rumored for 2016.

Nah. PA just dont want to lost reader. The biggest fanboys here is samsung fans and aple fans. So its likely both manufactur get slight favor in review. Samsung positive reviews are justificable, iphone is balanced phone with quality but nothing to brag in specs. My thought is how come iphone camera is good low res or not when they beaten over and over in PA's blind test? And dont talk like iphone is the only manufacture that can make good lcd screen. LG or sony make equal or better lcd.

Nokia lumia 1020 has 1/1.5" sensor size (for comparison runner up Z series have 1/2.3" sensor size). In other words, lumia 1020 has bigger frame to capture than others. How big sensor iPhone has ? 1/3"?

So just another apple ass licking "journalist" totally in defense because his beloved apple showed nothing but crap last night. The very same company who wanted to go thermal nuclear war against others who copied their stupid ugly bounce patent...And now they launch 4-5 gadgets that are nothing but rip-offs. Omg, you sir are so pathetic I'm getting sick.

Holy s**t we have a editor who is apple fan. Never expected phonearena will stoop this low to please their masters. The point tech enthusiasts makes is not about numbers/specs but how you are sold $200 specs phone for $800. Had IPhone been priced at $300 nobody would have bitching about the numbers

I like iphone and I want to get one since 5 years. But I can't justify paying 750 euros for it each time. For example, S6 costs almost half that price, and is as good as iphone if not better. And yes, you can tell the difference between 750p and 2K. Try reading small text on both.

Lol PA fan boy still believes in a 750p screen is not seen as the sun gives you direct, let alone the details or angles compared with S6. But still paying for limited display, mediocre battery, little storage, no fast charging, no wireless charging, no real multitasking and a very high price, that's innovation lol

quadHD vs fullHD test only involve 26 people? do it again at various university with 300-500 respondend so the result can be more fair.. well, whatever you say, apple will use 2k display for iPhone.. just wait.. (and i already forgot when the last time iPhone ever win blind test camera :-/ )

It will be extreme fun to see iphonearena turn 180, and tell us all how extreme good it is to have 2k displays. Suddenly it is just the perfect resolution.. I also can't wait to read those articles.

He, he, he, right. Why would a late 2015 premium phone with over premium price tag have premium features? After all, if you look at it from 2 meters it can be even 320p and you will not see the difference. And most importantly - you do have never seen "features", as a brand new Rose Gold color option and live wallpapers. My point is - when i buy a flagship smartphone i want it to be better then midrange phones. Even if i dont use/need all his features.

Until Apple has a better spec, then you will turn around saying spec is important, just admit you're an blind iPhone fan, that's fine you're not the only one anyway.
