You don't know what they are, but here you are cheerleading though. DEFEND APPLE DEFEND APPLE. Why does Apple always need defending?! If PA posted an article with Samsung saying the Note 8 was selling better than expected, you would be one of the first to say, it means its not doing well. If PA posted an article saying Samsung is pulling all Note 5 and Note FE device off the shelves to spur Note 8 sales, you'd swear it means its not selling well. If PA posted an article saying the Galaxy S7/S7 edge were still selling or outselling the S8's, you'd swear that the S8 sales were not doing so well. But when those sames facts are true of Apple you openly at least deny them as facts. At least you are an open book troll, and that is one thing at least you have over the other trolls here. You don't hide hypocrisy. I give you props for that!

Older model outselling the newer one. So it brings down the overall selling average. Every fan knows this. Example - If Apple sold 10M iPhone 8+ as an example, then it will have an average high average sellign rate. But if they sold 3M iPhone 8 and 7M iPhone 7's. They still sold the same 10M phones, but the average rate will drop because the price on the older model is lower and it has the high sales amount but a lower price. This will reduced the overall selling average. Now it has been also a fact, then when Apple releases a new iPhone, It takes until Jan/Fed/Mar quarter for the sales of the new model to catch up and pass the previous model. But because Apple has already dropped production 50% on the 8, this is likely not gonna happen as fast this time. No matter how many people are waiting on an iPhone 10, all of them aren't gonna get one this year.

Making the statement that something is selling better than expected, doesn't mean the sales are great. If you have low expectation to begin with, and the sells exceed those exceptions, then it simply makes the statement factual. If Apple expect 5M sales and got 5.1M sales, then that is better than expected. Based on the past 2 years of sales, Apple sells on average 55M iPhone's per quarter. You just did an article saying they sold only 46.7M. Which means right now they are having lower than average sales based on this article: So they may be selling better than expected, but they don't announce any sell expectations so that really doesn't mean much. Its a far cry from how they use to announce iPhone sales. They may be better than expected, but they aren't off the charts. 20% price drop in China. 50% production rate. Trouble with iPhone X components all will compound to Apple selling less than 220M phones. I guarantee it! Well guess, what; the iPhone 6S sold better than expected too, and yet Apple sales dropped from 220M when the iPhone 6 was released to 211M the very next year with the 6S.

To be honest in ontario Canada. I know Rogers and bell didnt have any demand for the 8( i work as a sub contractor for both). Ive never seen anybody with airpods and ive only seen my family doctor with an apple watch. Woman seem to be loyal to apple and most of the guys have gone to samsung or lg phones. An i saw one guy with a new macbook pro to only see him trade it for an hp omen which he is very happy with
