Honestly, I feel like it's gonna be in the power button. Why else would Apple elongate the power button to nearly double the size, as per nearly every leak? Unless there's another use for the elongated power button. Guess we'll find out come September.

This is the silliest title I've ever read on any site regarding any topic. A tech company like Samsung or Apple that ships and sells literally MILLIONS of phones in a quarter already knows what their model will ship with, way in advance. But yes, come September we will find out.

right... only 3 months to go, and I'm 100% sure they already finished the design, and already taking care of contracts with all component suppliers.. and will start mass production really soon

Hiw come the right info hasn't leaked from multitude of points in supply chain? Whereas every other info has been leaking for months e.g. Wireless charging, screen to body ratio and footprint and other blah blah blah

But he's claiming it won't release in the months. It's possible they're running into yield issues or other technical problems.

Just put it on the back.. we don't have the tech to embedded it with screen yet. Apple always plays it safe anyways, so putting it on back or part of power button will work well for their buyers

As long as it's not a physical pressure button that can only be replaced by Apple, like on the iPhone 7, then I'll be happy. Crack your iP7 home button, it stops working and the ones for sale on Amazon literally do nothing and are pointless to purchase. Only Apple can replace that home button successfully. It has to be paired with the mobo for Touch ID AND for use as a home button. Stupid.

Back is one of the most hideous places to place the fps. It might be easy to unlock the phone, with back fps, when holding in your hand. But it's less convenient in other situations such as when placed on a surface. Please don't give such advices.........let Apple renovate the fps. We are already having a hard time with unlocking the S8. So don't be the one to promote such an idea.

Just put it next to the camera and called it iPhone S8. Done!

The tech is obviously not ready yet for prime time use... Now I really don't see the need to spend 1k on the anniversary edition..

Higher display resolution , oled display, fast charging, bigger battery, improved camera - apple should concentrate on these features more. On screen finger print scanner is not essential this year. It can wait one more year. Prioritizing fingerprint scanner is like starting from the top to down in goal sheet.

If Apple doesn't get into the screen, they'll probably go into the power button...like Sony. Personally I don't care where it's placed, I've gotten use to the rear FPS, and my S8 Plus is the only phone I've used with one. Muscle memory has kicked in, and I never touch the camera (only did that twice). Sometimes, it'll take me 2 touches, mostly 1, so I'm good with a rear mounted FPS. I don't think the Note 8 will have it either. I just want one that's reliable.

You do not care because you are open to different platforms and can adjust accordingly. BUt imagine a long term iphone user who has not seen anything other than a single button on front. Suddenly they have to move their fingers backwards. Oh god.. So tough.

The fingerprint scanner has been on th3 feont of Samsung phones for th3 same amoujt of time its been on the iPhone. How is it any harder for them than anyone else? So just like anything else you will adjust.

Why do you always include samsung everywhere. An android user has many options other than samsung too. He could try a device with front and back fingerprint scanner. Whichever suits him. Long term iphone users do not have that much room to maneuver in ios ecosystem. Moreover like cnour said they believe in apple's simplicity. They are not prepared for drastic design changes. And i am not talking about tech savvy people like you.

Because I only use an iPhone or a gaalxy device...that's why. I dont talk about products I dont use. So I didnt mention Sony, LG or Moto. Is that ok with you?

So mving a FPS is a drastic change? lol Ok i'm done I can't handle stupidity. First off, you can't control where somethign gets moved. Sp you have 2 choices, you can buy somethign else, or you simply adjust to the change. Moving the FPS from the front to the back isnt a drastic change. If anyone feeble little brain can'thandle it, then that sucks for them, not anyoen else. CNOUR statement was BS. Because after all, we managed to launch a spaceship into space using 10% of our brain. So if you can't handle some minor change on a phone, then you shouldn't be using one. Thtat's how I seeit. Just leik hwo the fools tried ot make a big deal of the FPS on the Galaxu moving from the front to the back. if the location great? No! It was done likely for aesthetic purposes, and you have to consider, space has to be made inside the phone. It was placed at the top because this area is already clear and it means you don't have to, make the battery smaller for space, or remove a headphone jack, or whatever. CNOUR is a troll. You really want to quote him on his B.S.?

Perhaps a keyboard on the back of the phone is what you need to help you type. It sure couldn't make your typing any worse.

Same with the long time Samsung user's who were used to the front fingerprint sensor but it's now on the back of the S8. I've used enough phones to be able to adjust to the front or back sensor. I know loyal iphone users are a fickle bunch but it's really not that bad adjusting. Once muscle memory sets in things will be business as usual,

Don't imagine, I'm this iPhone user. Everything done by Apple will be easy to be familiar with.

So Cnour, you just admitted that you have only used iPhone, yet shame Android/Samsung/etc at any given moment? Literally the definition of an i-S-H-E-E-P.

Yes I was a Nokia Symbian user and then I moved to iPhone. Why using a copy version if you can use the original one? Of course I played several time with an Android phone to solve some problems for my friends and hence I know about what I'm talking.

He doesn't have friends period. He's always online, as a keyboard warrior. His phone is his only friend!

Android doesn't copy iOS. Android wasn't stolen from iOS either. Android is better than iOS too. Buy a huge margin and I;'m not talking market-share. Android is the most advanced mobile operating system.
